LORENZO

I arrived at the school to pick Astoria and as I suspected she yelled at me for being late then we drove over to the Lombardi Mansion. I knew Ryder Lombardi because my father and his father were good friends and they wanted their Empire's to become allies but after his death my uncle terminated the contract because he wanted nothing to do with them. Ryder and I weren't close because as much as we were quite alike he was a cold hearted person and hates everyone for some reason. He was always like that and I'm sure they were only two people that he was close to. We arrived in the mansion and parked the car in the woods then snuck into the house using a secret passage way that only the Lombardi's knew about.

Well the Lombardi's and my family. "How do you know about this passage way." Astoria said

"My dad was close to Ryder's dad growing up so since they was still rivalry between my grandparents and his grandparents so he snuck in using these same passage ways."

"Who's Ryder."

Of course she doesn't know who he is, I'm suprised she doesn't because her mother was working with Ryder's father before she left the Empire and started a new life.

But since it wasn't in my place to say anything else I kept quiet and gave her a simple response.

"He's the second best empire in New York. I should warn you that he's a bit of a dick and he had a cold personality."

"I'm sure he's not as bad as you and I thought he was as good as you guys." She said as we got to the end of the passage before I opened the door. We walked for a bit until we heard a sound in one of the rooms.

"Don't you dare open that Princess." I whisper shouted at her but the door flinged open and someone came out pinning me to the wall while holding a knife to my throat. His hair was covering his face but I could already tell who it was.

"Nice to see you here Davenport." I said. "Aren't you supposed to be at school."

"I should be asking you the same thing Lorenzo." Mason said, Ryder and his other friend came into the hallway.

"Why the fuck are here." Mason said

"Cut it out Mason, just let him go." Ryder said as Mason let me go before then he turned to Astoria. "And who is she, another one of you fuck buddies."

"Now that's interesting why would I wanna fuck him." She said

"Feisty, I like her." William said.

"Now why are you here." Ryder said turning his back to me.

"Where's your dad." I asked him, Ryder being himself obviously narrow his eyes at me before answering me

"He's inside his office, why do you need him?"

"We wanna see him. I want some information on my parents death." I said, Ryder told us to follow him and we left William and Mason in the hallway.

"Quindi questa volta hai deciso di interpretare il detective." He said
