Chapter 3: Captured

Illusion held her sword against Soundwave's neck as the others were yelling at her to stop. "《How about I do you a favor and send you to meet you minicon...?》" She raised the sword above her head, aiming towards Soundwave's helm. She was immediately tackled to the ground by Starscream as Soundwave quickly got to his feet. "Snap out of this Illusion! This isn't you!" Illusion pushes him off as she aims her cannon at him. "《Yeah right. You should know me better than my own brothers...》" She shots at him as he swiftly dodges it. "《You know what I went through when we were back on Cybertron and during the war...》" She shoots him again, aiming for his wing. He quickly moves out of the way, barely mising a few inches. "《And you know how I fight...》" She charges at StarScream, shooting multiple shots at him. StarScream tries his best to dodge them, but many hit him. Illusion tackles to the ground as she clawed StarScream's left wing. StarScream let out a scream of agony, feeling his energon bleeding out of him. Illusion gets pushed by Prime as Megatron grabs StarScream. "Ngh- it hurts..." StarScream held his injured wing as Illusion continued fighting Prime. Optimus did his best with fighting, but with her having more fighting experience as a gladiator, he wasn't able to fight her off. "《You never really were a fighter Prime.》" She shoots at him, hitting him directly at his chest, causing him to fall on his back. Illusion watches him limp a bit, holding his chest as energon begins to leak out. Illusion prepared to fire again but was hit by a sound blast from behind. Before she could react, minicons attacked her. As the minicons were fighting Illusion, Soundwave prepared to blast her with a paralyzing bullet. He quickly shoots it, but Illusion quickly moves out of the way. "《Did you really think I was that dumb to fall for that trick!?》" She aims her cannon towards Soundwave but immediately gets shot in the back. She falls face first, her entire body not being able to move except her optics. Everyone was completely confused until they saw the con that shot her. "Shockwave!?" Megatron stated as he held StarScream. "I came as soon as I saw the blast from a while ago. What is going on?" Soundwave's minicons returned to him as Prime helped StarScream get up as Megatron walked towards Shockwave. "I'm surprised you came." He said. Shockwave rolls his optic as he sees StarScream holding his injured wing. "You need medical assistance, StarScream." He stated. "It's fine, I'll get healed by KnockOut later..." StarScream said, trying to numb the pain on his left wing. Prime whispers quietly to StarScream, as Megatron talked with Shockwave. "We should take you back to the barn. Bumblebee has some medical equipment to heal you..." "I do want to get rid of the pain, but what about them?" StarScream looks towards Soundwave and Shockwave as they seem to be arguing with Megatron. "I think we should bring them with us." "But what if they hurt Bee and the terrans?" "No they won't. They may be our enemies, but they wouldn't hurt any sparklings." StarScream looks towards them before sighing in defeat. "Fine." They immediately look towards the three cons arguing loudly at this point as Illusion was literally paralyzed and lying on the ground. "I hope this isn't a mistake..." StarScream thought quietly.

"|WHAT ARE THEY DOING HERE!?!?|" Bumblebee immediately gets in front of the kids as he sees Soundwave and Shockwave carrying a paralyzed Illusion with them. Prime explains what happens as Soundwave and Shockwave look around. "Out of all the places they chose here?" Shockwave said as he looked around. Soundwave looks around the scenery, thinking it is beautiful. "/it isn't a bad place.../" Soundwave looks around before letting his minicons out to play for a bit. "Seriously, Soundwave?" Shockwave watches the minicons seeming to explore the place and meeting the terrans. "/what?/" Shockwave sighs heavily. "Let's just tie her before the paralyzation wears off..." They quickly 'tie' her with some metal they found. "/That should do it./" Soundwave pushes her into the barn before closing the doors. "Good. Now, let's see how StarScream is doing." They walk towards the open field as they see StarScream holding Megatron's servo as Bumblebee patched up his wing. Soundwave's expression seems to sadden a bit, remembering the time when Illusion held his servo to comfort him after losing Rumble. Oh, how he missed those times when everything was perfect for them, him, StarScream, and Illusion. Shockwave seems to notice it quickly. "Something wrong?" He asks, placing his servo on Soundwave's shoulder. "/I'm fine. It's just.... old memories haunting me./" He pushes Shockwave's servo of his shoulder before going over to look after his minicons. Shockwave watches him leave, seeming sad and troubled with Soundwave's actions. He hoped he felt better.

The terrans seemed to be interested in meeting Illusion. Thrash opened the barn door but was immediately shut. "What are you doing?" Megatron asked. "We just want to meet Illusion." Twitch said. He gives them a small glare of disapproval. "No. Now go with your mom or play around with the minicons." Twitch and Thrash sigh in defeat as they decide to go play with the minicons.

Megatron and Optimus were discussing if they should bring Illusion to G.H.O.S.T or let her stay in the barn tied up. "It better of we left her with G.H.O.S.T and-" "No way, Prime. That's our sister you're deciding to lock up!" The brothers seem to disagree at their choices on what they should do with Illusion. Soundwave listens to their conversation as he sits on some haystack. A few minutes later, Shockwave sat next to him. "Soundwave?" Soundwave looks towards him, Shockwave's yellow optic reflecting off Soundwave's red visor. "/yes Shockwave?/" Shockwave, for some unknown reason, felt nervous for asking Soundwave about his relationship with Illusion. He was honestly curious. "I was wondering about you and Illusion's relationship. I never really knew the details..." Soundwave stares at him before looking away from him. "/Our relationship was a close one. Our friendship was as strong as any gladiator fighting in the pits of Kaon. She was always there for me and yet..../" Soundwave felt a tear seeming to emerge from his visor. "/I never helped her before it was too late. I always wanted to find her again and have her back in my life, but it seems she doesn't need me anymore./" He felt tears rolling down his face as he wiped them. Shockwave felt bad for asking Soundwave, this question. It made him upset, and he hates seeing Soundwave upset. He gently wiped Soundwave's tear, stroking his faceplate. "She may not need you anymore...."
