Chapter 14: Solo

Megatron yelled at the other Decepticons as they were arguing. "What's the point in risking our sparks for a cassette!?" Brawl yelled. Illusion punched him straight in the face. "《Anyone else wants to argue with me!?》" Illusion pointed her sword towards the others. "Illusion, calm-" "《DON'T TELL ME TO CALM THE FUCK DOWN!》" Illusion glared at Megatron. Megatron took a couple of steps back. "Oh please-" SkullCruncher helped get Brawl up. "It's not like you ever cared-" Illusion grabbed him by the throat. "《Finish that sentence. I. Dare. You....》" StarScream put his servo on her shoulder, trying to calm her down. "He's more useful alive than dead." Illusion scoffed as she let him go. "You're crazy you know that!?" StarScream rolled his optics as Illusion punched them straight in the face. "Shouldn't any of us be checking in Soundwave? I doubt Shockwave is any help to him." Nova said. Illusion glared at her before sighing deeply, probably regretting the next words she'll say. "《You got no idea who Shockwave is.》" She glared at her. "《If I know Shockwave, he's probably the only one that's capable of comforting Soundwave. I should know...》" Just as she said that, Soundwave was coming out with Shockwave holding him close. Illusion gave them all a menacing glare, saying she'll kill them if they told Shockwave that she just defended him. "《How you holding up Sound-》" "/Rumble's alive./" Well, that definitely caught them all by surprise.

Frenzy glared at the small human that stood in front of her cell. How she wished she could kick his ass right now. "Hello Frenzy." His face reflecting off her visor. "How'd you know my name?" She asked. "Your friends aren't really quiet. Plus, I have cameras." Frenzy looked up towards the camera in the corner of the hall. "What do you want?" She asked. The human laughed as he paced in front of her cell. "You got no idea how long I've been trying to capture a cassette and I got two." Frenzy growled under her breath as the human stopped again. "Hmmm, you look familiar..." Frenzy glared at him, confused. "Now I remember. You have a twin, correct? His name is Rumble. What a horrible sister you are, leaving your brother to die." Frenzy gasped behind her cell before banging against the electric force field. "SHUT UP!" She yelled. "Your guardian must not have wanted him if he left him to rot in that battlefield." Frenzy hit the force field again. "SHUT UP! WE DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS STILL ALIVE!" Frenzy slumped back into her cell as the human continued his monologing. "Well, he sure was stubborn. He refused to believe that his family would leave him to die. He finally came around. And just in time, too." Frenzy glanced at him in horror. "What have you done to him!?" She yelled. The human laughed as he decided to leave. "You'll find out for yourself. Frenzy watched him leave, a tear running down her face.

The human walked across the separate cells, standing in front of one. "Hello again Rumble." Rumble clenched his servos as he saw his captor appear again. "What do you want now? I thought I told you I won't believe your lies." His captor laughed. "Well, I guess I should tell you that your sister is here." Rumble's visor widen. "Frenzy's here!?" He yelled. "Yes, she was thrilled to know you were alive." Rumble smirked. "Of course she would be." Rumble's smirk left him as his captor started to grin. "It would be a shame to let her know that you've... changed...." Rumble punched against his cell. "No you won't!" The human started leaving as Rumble let out his anger. "YOU WON'T GET AWAY WITH THIS SILAS!!!"

"/I've been able to contact Frenzy through our bond. Shockwave was able to trace down her frequency and has coordinates of where she possibly is./" Everyone started talking to each other as Illusion looked over the coordinates. They weren't far, she thought. Just a few miles away. She could get her back quickly. Alone. She looked over to the other Decepticons that were arguing. They still disagreed in risking their lives for the cassette. Pathetic. They've lost their ways of the cause. A cause that was supposed to unite the lower class but instead drove them to want to kill each other. A servo lay on her shoulder, causing her to flinch and get into a defensive stance. It was just Shockwave, but still. "I know what you're thinking. You can't go alone." Shockwave spoke. Illusion scoffed. "《How'd you guess that was my plan?》" She spoke. Shockwave stared at her, seeming disappointed. "We were friends once." Illusion looks away. "And plus, I won't let you go alone. I promised myself that a long time ago..." Illusion snorted as she looked over at Shockwave. "《Oh please, I don't believe you.》" She said. Shockwave glanced at her again before avoiding her gaze. "Whenever Megatron sent you on a mission alone, I'd send one of my drones or asked Soundwave to lend me Lazerbeak to watch over you." Illusion froze. "《What?》" Memories started flooding through her processor as she remembered the times she'd catch a glimpse of a drone or Lazerbeak hovering over her. She didn't want to believe Shockwave. She didn't want to believe he still cared about her. She looked at him one last time before walking away. "《You shouldn't have waste your time on me...》" Shockwave groans heavily as she transforms. Megatron noticed her leave. "What did you say to her?" He asked. Shockwave showed him the coordinates of the place. It was an abonded warehouse, or so it seemed. And Illusion was able to get the coordinates. Sneaky femme....

Illusion transforms out of her alt mode as she stands in front of the warehouse. She looks around, expecting a sort of ambush. The door opens, soldiers piling out with someone walking through the middle. Their leader... Now she recognized these humans. They were the ones that attacked her and Hazard a few days ago. Bastards. She'll make them pay.
