Chapter 22: Respect

Illusion had been unaware that Bumblebee was near them while she put her minicon to sleep. Bumblebee spoke up. "|I didn't know you sing-|" And immediately, a cannon was charged right at his face. It was growing a dangerous red but quickly faded away as Illusion moved her arm away, scowling at him. "《What's your business here, Autobot? Unless you want to force me to give that pink glitch a sappy apology over her dead flame. I have no regrets.》" Bumblebee immediately frowned after she said that. That's one way to ruin his perspective on her again. "|Would it kill you to be nice for once?|" Bumblebee snapped. Illusion glared at him as she turned away, holding her minicon as she re-entered the base. "《Oh please. Imma being nice. By making everyone realize the world isn't peaceful》" Bumblebee scoffs as she walks away, holding her minicon as if she was the most precious thing in the world. Bumblebee groaned in defeat as he ruled his nose bridge to calm his aching helm. How on earth is she and Optimus related???

For some reason, Bumblebee didn't tell anyone about her singing for her minicon. He just kept it to himself. He didn't know why, but at least he had some good blackmail. He quickly moved aside as he saw WheelJack walking furiously at him. "|Something wrong, Jackie?|" Bee asked his friend. WheelJack shoves his defused bomb into his chassis. "Mind explaining why you planted a BOMB in my lab!?" Hold up- Bee resetted his audio receptors again as he tried processing the informal again. "|wh- what do you mean!? I didn't plant anything!|" Bumblebee protested. "Dont lie, Bee! I nearly got killed cause of this stupid prank!" As both Bumblebee and WheelJack yelled at each other, a nearly damaged to death Morage was thrown near their pedes. Illusion was wiping away the energon that was covering her servos. Her minicon was perching on her shoulder. "《Here's your culprit. He planted that bomb.》" WheelJack kneeled down to assess any internal damages Mirgae received. "《Oh and also...》" Illusion grabbed the bomb, opening it, and a large amount of glitter fell out. "《This isn't a real bomb, you moron...》" Illusion threw the bomb aside and walked past them as Rachet was quickly called over to help Mirage. "Is she out of her mind!?" Rachet yelled. Mirage coughed a bit as he spoke as well. "I'm telling you- she's insane! It was a small prank-" "When Prime hears of this, he has to remove her immediately!" WheelJack said as well. Bumblebee ignored their thoughts on Illusion, having his own. She stood up for him... A DECEPTICON stood up for him. Now he owes her a solid. Bumblebee was snapped out of his thoughts when Rachet yelled at him to help carry Mirage to the medical bay.

Bee placed his cube next to hers as he sat down next to her in the mess hall. "《Hey bug. Your friends are over there.》" She pointed to where his friends were. "|I know, but I thought I'd thank you.|" Illusion paused and looked at him again. "|For earlier...|" He clarified. Illusion scoffed as she got up from her seat. "Don't, bug. I wasn't doing it for you. It's so that you don't spill my secret from a few nights ago, and if I were you, I'd keep my mouth shut unless you want to end up like Mirage." She moved past him, ignoring the glares she received from everyone in the mess hall. Bumblebee sighed to himself.

Why did she keep herself away from everyone...?

Bee snapped out of his thoughts as a loud snore interrogated thoughts. Bumblebee sighed heavily as he realized Illusion fell into recharge on his shoulder. Bee tried moving her helm off his shoulder, but no success. He notices the small spark chamber quietly emitting small pulses. "|It must be Hazard's...|" Bumblebee thought. He remembered that gray frame she carried when they returned after not being to save Frenzy. He thought to himself. Can they bring her back? It shouldn't be hard.... for Shockwave. Bee grabbed the small spark and went off to see Shockwave.

Maybe he can being her back...
