I suppose I felt guilty for not telling them all sooner but it couldn't be helped. When Simon found out about Leo and I dating he nearly killed Leo and Alexandria. Our marriage alone could start an upscale war. Alexandria was still disappointed that I hadn't told her about the wedding, I hope she would get over it soon so that we can go back to figuring out how to take down Simon. I made my way down to the empty training hall and pulled a rapier sword from the wall and started going through the motions. I swiftly dodged invisible attacks and continuously lunged at the air. "Well then that answers my question as to where you are" I heard Leo said as I turned wiping the sweat from my forehead. "Sorry, I've just got a lot on my mind" I say lowering my sword and letting myself collapse upon the floor. "I guess I'm to blame for some of it" Leo said rubbing the back of his neck. "Nonsense! You have done nothing wrong, its my fault I should have agreed to let them come to the wedding" I say rubbing his shoulder and putting my head against his chest. "No matter how bad things get I'll never have even the slightest regret in marrying you no matter how it happened I love you more than anything on this world, you do know that don't you?" I ask looking up into his eyes. "Of course but, hearing you say it makes it all the more real" Leo said planting a kiss firmly on my lips. We sat there sparring and talking until the loud grumbling of my stomach interrupted our evening. "How astonishing I don't think I'd ever heard your stomach growl before" Leo said poking at my stomach. "St-stop it!" I gasped out between giggles. "Oh well now I never saw this coming, Ryia could you possibly be ticklish?" Leo asked with sarcastic surprise. "O-of course n-not" I stuttered pushing him away from me and running out of the room giggling as Leo ran out after me laughing as well. I dashed through the castle until I got to my room and hid beneath the covers. I heard the door being thrown open and Leo taking loud steps into the room. "Well I wonder where ever could Ryia be" Leo said too loud and far too sarcastic too sound even slightly serious. "Surely not under this unnatural lump in the the sheets!" he exclaimed. I was about to get up when Leo launched and landed straight on top of me. "Ugh get off me!" I squealed as he began tickling me relentlessly. "Password" he demanded as he continued his assault on my nerves. "H-how am I su-supposed to know y-your bloody pas-password" I panted between fits of laughter. "I'll give you a hint, I want you to kiss me!" Leo exclaimed with a devious glint in his amber eyes and a devilish smile. "Why you slick little bastard" I panted out between breathless laughs. "I'd hurry up with that password darling you seem out of breath" he said smirking. I roll my eyes and lean up wrapping my arms around his neck pulling him down so that our lips meet. He wraps his arms around m waist. I kissed him until my persistent stomach growled once more rather loudly. "Well," Leo broke off the kiss "I think its time you got some food little devil" he said laughing with a genuine smile dancing across his lips. We traveled down to the kitchen where we snatched two juicy turkey legs and a bowl of fresh picked strawberries and a pitcher in the water. After downing that meal I went up stairs and wrote a letter to Niamh who had recently left to train at a fae camp. I was signing my name at the bottom when Alexandria, Leo, Aaron, Terrin, and Rowan barged in. Much to my surprise Rowan was the one to speak. "Ryia there, there is no easy way to say this but father died in the last battle against Simon's army. I will be taking his place on the thrown as king and after the funeral I'll be heading out to war as he did" Rowan said keeping his chin up despite the tears running down his cheeks.
