I couldn't believe that my sister's husband had died, and that she was pregnant. All of my sadness and sorrow went towards my sister. I couldn't imagine what she was feeling. I could never imagine life without Aaron. I felt horrible. I didn't get to see Leo all month, and now he was dead.

I could see the depression in my sister's eyes. It looked like she had a void of darkness in her eyes, a void that would never go away. After the funeral, we were riding home together on our horses. I didn't say anything, because I didn't know what to say. I was afraid that anything I would say to her would upset her, so I kept my mouth shut. I didn't want to say I was sorry for her loss, because I knew that she had heard that enough throughout the day.

Ryia didn't eat dinner with us that night. I knew that she was in her room, laying on her bed. I didn't come up to get her to eat, because I knew she wouldn't eat anything anyway. She needed some time alone. Aaron and I ate in silence. I felt like their was nothing to say. I couldn't believe it. Leo was dead. After a long silence, I looked at Aaron and asked him something.

"Aaron....is this all real?" I asked. "Hm?" He responded, looking at me. "All of this, it just feels like a daze to me. Like a realistic dream that I don't want to come true" I said. Aaron gave me a sad look. "I know it seems like that, but....it's real" he said. I sighed. I looked out the window. It was pouring rain. "I've lost father, and Rowen. Now Leo's gone. Who's going to die next?" I asked.

"No one else is going to die, Alexandria. I'm a knight, I'll make sure of that" Aaron said. I looked at him and smiled. He smiled back. "Alexandria, why don't you try talking to Ryia? Maybe you two could use some sister time" Aaron said. I hesitated, but nodded. I stood up and kissed Aaron, then left the dining hall. I walked up to Ryia's room and lightly knocked on the door. "Hey sis, can I come in?" I asked.

Their was no reply. After a few minutes, I decided to open the door. I slowly opened it and looked inside. Ryia was laying on her bed, crying on her pillow. "Ryia..." I said quietly. She began to sob even more. It brung tears to my eyes. I hated to see my sister cry. "Ryia...I....I'm so sorry...." I said. She sat up and looked at me. She sobbed and held her arms out, and I ran into them. Ryia sobbed on my shoulder, and I ran my hand through her long, black hair.

"What am I going to do?" She asked. My sleeve had a huge wet spot from her tears, but I didn't care. "What will I do without him? I'm going to have a child, Alexandria. This child isn't going to have a father" she sobbed. I kept running my hand through her hair. "Alexandria, your all I have left. Your the only person I love now" she said. Tears streamed down my face. "Please don't die. Don't let the Demon King kill you, please!" She sobbed.

"I won't. I'll never let him kill me. He's sent out his knight to try and kill me twice, but he failed. I'm not leaving this world, sis. Not now. I'll stay here for you, sis" I said. Ryia sobbed louder and harder. "I'll help you raise the child. I'm not going to leave you hanging" I said. Ryia couldn't stop crying. She began to gasp for air. I placed my hands on her cheeks and said, "look at me." Ryia looked at me with her tear filled blue eyes.

"I know this hurts. Leo died, but he died loving you. He was happy, Ryia. He died happily. Just remember that, alright? He will watch over you from the heavens now, Ryia" I said. She began to sob again. I lightly placed my right hand on her chest. "His human body may be gone, but his spirit lays within your heart" I said. Ryia stared at me for a minute before throwing her arms around me and crying. I wrapped my arms around her, pulling her into a hug.

"I love you Alexandria" Ryia said. I smiled and said, "I love you too, sis." Ryia stayed there for a long time, crying her eyes out. Finally, she stopped crying. I thought she had fallen asleep, so I laid her down and pulled the bed sheets over her body. I was about to get up when she suddenly grabbed my hand. So she wasn't asleep after all. "Don't go....sis..." Ryia said. I could tell she was tired. I smiled and laid down next to my sister. After about an hour, I fell asleep. For the first time in a while, nightmares came to me.

I was standing in a field of dead grass in Talahan. The sky was black, and it was lightly raining. I looked around, but I could see nothing in sight, not even the huge castle I lived in. "Lovely to see you here, your highness" said a voice. I turned around to see a man who looked about twenty years old. He had pale skin and long black hair. His eyes were a dark color that I found myself staring into.

He smiled and said, "I see your getting lost in my eyes. It's not a shock, most girls do." "Who are you?" I asked. He seemed evil, and mysterious. "I'm the one who your after" he said. I stared at him. He smiled evilly and said, "do you not know? Why don't you try guessing?" I soon realized who he was. "Your the Demon King" I said. He smiled and said, "the one and only." "You killed my sister's husband" I said. "Yes, and it was rather....fun" he said.

I glared and growled at him. He lightly laughed. "You do not scare me, your highness. Your nothing but a mere child" he said. "What do you want with me?" I asked. He smiled and said, "now, that's the question I was waiting for. Here is what I want, your highness. I want your life. If you give me that, your family will be untouched, I swear it" he said. I laughed. "Do you think I'm stupid? Go home, get out of my head" I said. The Demon King stared at me.

"Your brave and bold to say those words to me. Well, it's your decision. Die now, or die later" he said. I smirked. "Can I rest now? Your bothering me" I mocked. He stared at me blankly. "I suppose so, my dear. But trust me, we will meet again" he said. After that, my dreams faded, and I finally got to sleep.
