It was mid day but even after a little over a month the burns on my back were still rather limiting. Along with the sickness from the sickness from this morning it was unbearable. When I had went to the apothecary who had said that I might be pregnant though I doubted it I took the test anyways, its not like it was impossible considering I'm with Leo most every night. She had then given me a pain tonic for my back saying to came back this afternoon for the test result. I tried not to think about that possibility. After taking the tonic to help with the pain the apothecary said I should go straight to sleep to help it work through my blood. I couldn't sleep though not with the new constant uncertainty of who would show up in her mind; Simon or the demon knight. They had started switching randomly after my dream over a month ago. I was about to give in to sleep when  Alexandria and  a boy who looked to be about fourteen with fire red hair and liquid green eyes surrounded by thick circular glass burst in. Looking back and forth between them I noticed that Alexandria was injured. Right as my instincts to heal her kicked in I saw a blood tipped arrow loaded in the boys crossbow. My eyes went wide and then my face scrunched up in anger. "What did you do" I growled at the boy.  "It wasn't him Ryia, it was the demon knight". My heart stopped. No, dear god no. "H-he was here" I ask hating the fear and disbelief clear in my voice. "You guys don't know a lot about the demons of our realm do you?" the boy asked as he helped me lay Alexandria on the bed. Alexandria hissed as I cleaned the wounds with my cloth that I would usually use to wash my face before bed. I reached under my bed for the first aid kit that I keep in case of emergencies like this one. "No we don't, I've been researching demons but there is not much information that I can find merely their history nothing about killing one" I said as I applied healing salve on Alexandria's wounds before wrapping them in gauze. Alexandria looked up confused. "What do demons have to do with any of this?" she asked, eyebrows scrunching together. "I meant to tell you guys I just didn't know how to say it, gods this is all kinds of confusing, but you see, the demon knight he has been controlling Simon this whole damn time and I was too stupid too remember" I growled disappointed. "What?! He was possessed this whole time, and wait, remember what?" she asked. I could feel blood rushing to my cheeks. "T-that doesn't matter right now" I stuttered. "Okay, kid I'm taking it you know a thing or two about demons, elaborate" I said successfully changing the subject. "Well you see I'm a Man of Wisdom, its an organization. The members are descendants of the men who dived into the demon's realm to collect and secure helpful information for the demon war fought centuries ago, we continue researching the scrolls that were taken, I am Takashi descendant of Gara" he said bowing. My eyes widened. "I didn't know there were any living descendants of him, I thought he died while protecting the others in hope of getting their knowledge to fae king" I said having read many reports of him. "He had a wife and three children at the time" Takashi stated sadly. "He is a legendary hero" I said smiling sympathetically. "That is so, but the advisory you must face is much darker than anything he ever had to face" he reached into his backpack and grabbed out some scrolls. "This is all the information we have on the demon knight, I was sent by my elders to deliver this. They had sensed his presence it seems the demon king is trying to avoid the prophecy" the boy said holding it carefully his reverence painted the room. "What prophecy?" Alexandria asked. "It tells of the demon king's demise, you see the elders have heard many tales of you and it seems to us that it tells of your children. We think they will be the ones to kill him" Takashi stated gravely. Children, oh gods I thought clutching my stomach and looked at the clock. I was supposed to get the results in thirty minutes. "Alright I have an appointment in an hour and Alexandria needs rest so we will have to look at those with everyone. Takashi do you mind watching over Alexandria while find Aaron, he should be able to take it from there. When Alexandria wakes up we can talk about it more" I said standing up. "Will do, my lady" Takashi said giving me a nod. After I quick thank you I headed down to the main hall where Aaron and Leo were talking to some court with worried faces. When they noticed my presence they motioned me over. "Alexandria is-"Aaron started. "She's alright, she's resting in my room there is you should meet in there, he is a young boy named Takashi he has some information we need" I said. As soon as I stopped talking he ran up stairs, obviously still worried. The men walked off taking that as there que to leave. Leo was about to walk after him when I stopped him. "Leo, we need to talk,I wasn't going to tell you once I was sure but I need you to come with me, I visited an apothecary this morning like you suggested after I threw up and she said I might be pregnant she took a test and told me to come back for the results this afternoon" I said sighing. "Really?" Leo asked with wide eyes. I nodded. "Well, of course I'll come with you" Leo said with a smile. We went out and mounted our steeds. It took us a while at the slow pace we were going at but we made it to the apothecary's house. As we entered the slender old lady was crushing herbs in a chair by the fire. "Hello my dear" Nancy said standing and walking over. "So I'll go see the results, it should only take a moment. Take a seat" she said. Giving my thanks Leo and I sat down. About a minute later Nancy came back with a bright smile. "It seems that you are going to have a little boy or girl running around, it tested positive. Congratulations!" she smiled broadly. I gasped and smiled brightly putting my hands on my stomach. Leo hugged me and kissed my cheek. "That's great thank you so much" I said. As we left I found my smile fading as I thought about the prophecy. Telling Leo about everything I hung my head low. "If this kid is anything like you it will be able take down any advisory with ease" Leo said. I smiled at him and tears stung my eyes. Bless the gods that I have Leo, I wouldn't be able to do this with out him. Mounting our horses I smiled and said "Leo, what would I do without you?". "If I have things my way you'll never have to find out." he said with a bright, teasing smile. Gods I loved him so much.
