*Iofi POV*

After giving it some thought, I decided I should stay with Anya and Reine until Risu or Moona get out of the hospital.

"Can you bring me there, Zeta?" I ask

"Sure Iofi-senpai..." She answered

Zeta began to walk me to Anya's with Kaela and Kobo following. I don't know if I particularly trust Moona to be alone with Risu right now, but she should be being monitored by the nurses.

"Thank you for saving Reine-senpai!" Kaela said to me as we continued to walk.

"All I did was hug her; it really was no big deal," I replied.

"Maybe to you, but right now you mean the world to Reine," Kaela replied.

That may be true, and I may mean the world to her...

"Thank you for bringing me here." I said

"Do you need me to bring you anything?" Zeta asked

"Uhh... yeah, actually, can you get me the drawing tablet Risu got me? I want to use it!" I said

"Okay, I'll get that to you in about an hour or so. Is that fine?" Zeta asks.

"That is perfect!" I told her.

The four of us parted ways, and I went up to the door, knocking on it. Ollie opened the door. "Iofi-senpai?" She questioned

Anya peeked down the stairs and tilted her head. "You're here??" She questioned

"Yes, I'm going to stay with you until Risu, and you know who wakes up..." I said

"Oh, well, then I'll show you the guest room then." She said

"Hold it, can I see Reine first?" I asked

"Sure," Anya told me.

I ascended the stairs and made it to the peafowls room. She seemed attentive and aware that I had entered the room, but she remained silent.

"Reine, how are you holding up?" I asked

"..." unresponsive

Anya came up from behind me. "She hasn't been talking." She told me

I nodded and stepped more into her sight line. "Are you okay?" I asked

Anya sighed "I told you she-"

"I'm fine..." Reine whispered

"Do you want to be alone with me?" I ask

"..." silence

"Anya, give us some space." I said

"Sure," she softly said.

As soon as she exited and shut the door, I sat on the bedside and watched as Reine began to cry.

"Are you in pain?" I questioned

"No, I don't feel anything," she claimed.

I bit my lip. "I'm sorry"

"Don't be sorry; this isn't your fault!" I said

I grabbed her hand, realizing how skinny her arm was and how light she actually was. "Reine, you need to eat," I told her.

"What's the point? I'm not going to become beautiful if I eat too much," she said.

"Reine, you aren't going to get better if you don't face this head on. You need to eat. Please do it for me!" I said it firmly.

"Sure..." is all she said.

"Reine I'm serious!!" I told her.

She looked at me shocked, not actually expecting me to show concern for her. Tears still flowed from her face as she looked at me. "I'll eat..." She stated

"Okay then, let's go get you some food then."

I went to get up to go get her something to eat, but she grabbed onto my sleeve and said, "Don't go." She told me

"I can't get you food otherwise." I said

"Shoot Anya a text. I don't want you to go," she replied.

She doesn't want me to
"Reine I-" I paused

Should I stay here with Reine because she wants me here with her, or should I just text Anya to get her to bring Reine food? I really don't want to do the wrong thing.

But should I give Reine the attention she wants or try to teach her not to depend on me? Doing the wrong thing could lead to dire consequences, and I don't want anyone to get hurt anymore, but what is right in this moment?
