*Iofi POV*
"I apologize, Moona, but can we go on a fun day today?" I asked the moon goddess
She looked at me and gave me a defeated sigh. "Yeah, a fun one would be memorable." She claimed
"I promise I will do whatever you want next time!" I told her
She gave my words some thought and gave me a small, beautiful smile. Okay," She said happily.
Risu cleared her throat and pulled me aside. "Spend more time with me too," she told me.
"We are living together, so we should be able to spend a lot of time with each other."
Risu and Moona stated at me and mumbled something amongst themselves. I didn't know why, maybe I said something wrong.
"Are you two good?" I questioned
"Yes—yes, we are..." Risu said
I knew this wasn't true since she repeated one of her words, but I didn't know what was wrong, so I decided not to worry. I got ready to go, and we headed off.
"Where to first?" Moona asked
"Well, I think we should get this cute alien ice cream," Risu replied.
"Cute?" I said in shock
"Well, you are really cute," Risu said as we walked.
Moona rammed into Risu, pushing her away from me. "You are cute, Iofi!" She told me
"Really?" I asked.
I never really thought about that since my parents had to arrange for someone for me to be engaged to; I couldn't pick myself; they don't even know what I like—well, what I like doesn't really matter.
"You are adorable," Risu said, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Why thank you!" I told her
Moona sighed and pulled me close to her, almost making my heart skip a beat randomly.
"Let's just get ice cream and cool off." Risu stated
I looked around, feeling the tension suddenly souring. I felt like something was definitely wrong.
"Hey—are you two really all right?" I asked
They looked at me, and when they were about to say something else, someone whizzed past them, hitting them both and knocking them over.
"Ah—sorry," a gray-haired cat-looking girl stated as she looked back at the three of us.
"Zeta?" Risu said.
"Oh, it's you, Risu, Moona, and?"
"We haven't met. I'm Airani Ioffiteen, but call me Iofi!" I said to her:
"Are you an alien?" Zeta asked me
I was shocked that she could tell from a small glance at me. Not everyone can see that I'm an alien.
"Yes, I am an alien. I'm happy you realized!" I laughed
Zeta approached us, helping Moona and Risu back to their feet. "You two never came this way, so why are you taking this path today?" She asked
"We are taking Iofi on a tour and getting her ice cream, but more importantly, why are you bulldozing through people?" Risu questioned
"Well, I overslept and I was late for a date with Ela," Zeta stated.
Moona sighed in response: "Do you really think Kaela is on time?" She asked
"I wouldn't know..." Zeta said angrily
"You have a girlfriend?" I questioned myself. I looked up and down at the girl, not really thinking of her as someone who would have one.
"Of course—I like a lot of girls, Ela, Mumei-senpai," she said before Zeta could go on a tangent.
"She doesn't know who Mumei is, and I doubt they will meet any time soon, so don't start." Moona said
"Still so indifferent," Zeta groaned.
I looked around and saw a brick wall. Risu smiled as she noticed what I was looking at. Gripping my hand firmly, she pulled me towards the wall.
"Let's walk on it," she said.
"How do we get up there?" I asked her
Risu climbed up the wall with ease and pulled me up the wall, saying, "Keep your balance." She told me to let me walk in front of her.
We both began to walk, and when I was about to fall, she grabbed me, holding me tightly so I wouldn't fall.
"Thank you," I said to her.
She laughed at me softly, saying, "Don't mention it."
I took in the view from up here and saw some things I couldn't see from down below. The wall was higher up than I thought it would be.
"Anything you're interested in?" Risu asked
I had the urge to tell her, but I don't think she would be interested in that, so I remained silent before coming up with my answer. "That big tree," I told her.
"We can climb up that tree and see the whole town," Risu told me.
"I want to climb it!" I told her
Moona cleared her throat loudly. "No..." She said sternly.
I looked at her and began to pout. "Why can't I climb up the tree?" I questioned
"Because it's dangerous, you will fall and get hurt, and I don't want to see that!" Moona said
"She won't get hurt, and besides, she'll be with me. Also, didn't we agree this would be a fun tour?" Risu asked
"I want to climb the tree too, just in order to see if Ela is at the meet-up spot yet," Zeta said.
Moona rolled her eyes. "No is no..." She said
"Moona, come on, I'll be with her, so what's the issue? Nothing will happen, I promise!" Risu said
"I'll be there too!" Zeta said
"I still think it isn't a good idea if Iofi falls and gets hurt. I would feel awful because I would be watching the whole time," She said.
"If she falls and we can't catch her, then you can capture her," Risu said.
Moona was still skeptical about it. Her answer still being no, it isn't her decision to make.
"What do you want to do, Iofi?" Risu asked
I smiled, happy that she didn't just tell me we were going to climb the tree, but now I have to question what I want to do right now: should I climb it or should I not climb it
