*Iofi POV*

After giving it some thought, I decided to go with Moona as soon as I made my decision. Zeta pushed me out of the way.

"Moona-senpai, you know Reine could hear everything you said-what the actual fuck is wrong with you!?" Zeta screamed

"It's as I said, my only priority is Risu. Reine's well-being doesn't matter to me right now," she answered.

"Iofi-senpai, hold me back." Zeta growled

She was about to lunge at Moona, but I grabbed her and yanked her back, stopping her.

"Iofi-senpai, you can do as you please, but Moona-senpai, tell me you want to see Risu because you care about her well-being. Say: I want to see Risu because I care about her and not because I have an ulterior motive!!" Zeta yelled

Moona scoffed, "Don't accuse me."

"Then say it!!!" Zeta yelled

"I don't owe that to you." Moona claimed

"Yes, you do. After you tried to steal Ela from me, you owe me this much. I was silent about it because I knew Ela wasn't going to leave me for you, but still, you caused something like this to happen, and you won't even see Reine!?" Zeta yelled

"Hearing her voice was enough; I don't need to see her." Moona scoffed, annoyed by this conversation.

"You know Iofi-senpai just saved Reine's life, and you know Reine needs her because, so far, Iofi-senpai is the only person Reine thinks cares about her, so you are planning on dragging her away so Reine can feel worse about herself, right!?" Zeta asked

I looked at Moona, who had a grin on her face. "Of course not!" She said her tone was sympathetic, but her smile never vanished.

"Is that the face of someone who is telling the truth!?" Zeta asked

"We're done here..." Moona screamed

She turned her back on us and walked away. "I'll be back in ten minutes!!!" I said

"Hold it, Reine needs it."

Zeta tried to call out to me, but I exited the building before she could finish her sentence. Moona was far ahead, so I caught up.

"Moona, do you have an ulterior motive?" I asked

"Of course not... not yet..." She said the second part was a whisper that I didn't hear.

"Can you speak up?" I asked

"No..." Moona simply said

We were silent for a moment.

"You know, I'm glad you came with me despite the fact that you are the person Reine needs the most right now, even though you barely know one another. When you save someone in a moment like that, you should be there with them" Moona stated

"What?"

"Why are you shocked?" She asked

"Zeta was right; you were dragging me away to make Reine feel worse." I questioned

"Of course not. I want to see Risu with you; whatever happens is just collateral, you know?" She asked

"Moona, you weren't like this before. Are you alright mentally? Has everything that has happened gotten to you?" I asked

"Iofi, stop it." She sighed

"I'm serious!!!!" I told her.

"Iofi, please stop. This isn't about Reine; this is only about Risu. That is all I want to talk about. That is who I have my eyes set on."

"Why though!?" I asked

"Stop being nosy, Iofi, just wait and see." Moona stated

We arrived at the hospital and went inside, going to the reception desk. We were told which room Risu was in, and we were allowed to visit her for a little bit. We walked into the room where nurses were tending to Risu.

They explained to us that Risu is in an odd condition; her comatose state is one that she should never wake up from, but for some reason her body is actually in a state where she will wake up in about a day or so as long as nothing happens. Since she has visitors the nurses decided to step out for a bit.

"Hello Risu..." I softly spoke.

Her monitor beeped louder, and the little wave thingy amplified as if she were responding to me being there. I cusped her hand and squeezed it tightly.

"Iofi, you know something, Risu, that is frustrating to me." Moona suddenly said

"Huh?" I said I wanted her to repeat that.

I looked at Moona as she walked over to the outlet and grabbed Risu's cord.

"Moona, what are you doing?" I asked

"I decided that everything is Risu's fault. She is the one who told Reine that I was cheating on her and drove her to this point. She is the one you are closest to, and I don't know. I think I have had enough."

I realized in that moment that the bags under Moona's eyes weren't in her right mind. I should have said something. Maybe if she confronted Reine, she could have had closure for the evening she is feeling, but instead I decided to come with her right now.

"Moona, what the hell!?" I yelled

"Iofi, you are thinking you should have had me confront Reine, but don't worry, I will see her soon. After all, she is going to end up in a hospital bed because she doesn't have you with her right now." Moona said

"I-I-I-I..."

"What are you trying to say?" She asked

"This can't be your solution. Moona, step back and think about what you are doing. Come on, this isn't you. I know you don't want to harm Risu. I know you don't feel the way you think you do about Reine; you are better than that. You just have a lot on your plate!!" I claimed

Moona laughed at me and what I was saying, but I noticed that she had also begun to cry. I don't know if it was voluntary or not, but any sign of an emotion other than what she

I need to knock some sense into Moona, though if I don't, I don't know what she will do. But I also saw that she had loosened her grip, so maybe she has realized she is doing something wrong.

I also noticed it on my phone. I have had five missed calls from Zeta, and she was calling me again for the sixth time, so her call must be important.
