*Iofi POV*

After giving it some thought, I decided to take Reine out, but not to the hospital. I don't think Moona and her should confront one another yet.

"What are we doing today?" Reine asked

I noticed her eyes were somewhat gray and lifeless, but she seemed fine to walk and do stuff.

"Reine, we need to take this easy," Mumei said to her. The peafowl nodded, and she stepped forward, clinging to my arm tightly.

"I will..." she replied.

I wasn't prepared for her to cling to me, but I liked it because I like her; she is a good friend to me.

"We should go to get lunch. Maybe eat fast food or something because I think you deserve something nice," I said.

"Oh, well, let's take things slowly." Reine sighed. She understood that her body has limits and she needs to rest.

"Can I come?" Anya asked

Reine looked at Anya, nodding, "You can..." She said it softly. I knew she wasn't really ready to trust her yet, but she wanted to make amends with her.

"So, where should we go after we eat?" I ask

"Maybe we should go to the park; maybe that would be fun, just a nice easy stroll," Zeta said.

"Sure, let's take it easy!" Mumei laughed

"Iofi-senpai... thank you for being here with us," Reine said.

"It's no problem; I want to be here with you!" I said to her

We slowly led Reine outside and walked down the road, making sure she wouldn't lunge out in front of a vehicle or anything like she did yesterday.

"How are you holding up?" Anya asked

"Fine..." Reine sighed

I could tell she was a little frustrated since she was being pitied pretty badly, but she has to have made an attempt.

All of a sudden, Reine stopped and began to cry. I paused and looked at her, confused as to why she was crying. Did I do something wrong?

"Reine, are you okay??" I ask

Tears continued to flow. She tried to say something, but the words wouldn't come out. I was confused by what was happening and tried to get her to say actual words.

"Reine us your words!" Mumei said

"Mumei-I" She began to speak before devilving into gibberish again. We couldn't understand her at all; she wasn't making this easy.

"Reine, hold on!" I told her.

I wondered what I should do since she seems distraught all of a sudden. Maybe I should step in with something like a hug, but at the same time, there are others that can comfort her if she needs it. She has forgiven Zeta, and Mumei is able to make her feel safe at the same time. Am I the one that should be doing this?

I'm worried about making Reine too dependent on me but at the same time if she is dependent on me we can become closer and then maybe we can become closer than that eventually but that is just a thought
