At the backstage, Jisoo, Jennie and Lisa both spotted Jaehyun. The girls gasped before they kept quiet, knowing that Rose could hear.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Lisa exclaimed.
"Our manager gave me some few days off so that I can come and see everyone." Jaehyun explained.
"That's incredible!" Jennie smiled.
"Rose is going to freak once she sees you!" Jisoo clapped her hands excitedly.
The three girls hugged him tight as he returned it. The staff had got the cake ready for her and they got ready to give off a secret surprise for her.
One staff member helped her take her blindfold off and as the two seen each face to face, Rose's eyes were clouded up in tears.
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you! Happy birthday, dear Rose, happy birthday to you!" Everyone sing-songed.
She covered her mouth in shock.
"What the hell is this?!" Rose cried out, making everyone giggle.
He came closer to her as she did too and they squeezed each other tight. Heavy sobs can be emmitted from her as he pulled her back.
"Awww..... don't cry!" Jennie comforted her.
"I just can't believe that he is here! I have so many things..... I--I want t-t-to tell you.... I just---- I----" She hiccuped.
"It's okay, I know why you have done it. You don't have to explain..... yes, it did hurt my feelings when you are going on tour without talking to me. But the more that I think about it, the more that we can find loads of ways to make it work. I think being apart just makes our relationship even mrole stronger because it lets you know what it's like to miss someone you love the most." He earnestly replied, "And when you get back together, it's the best feeling you can ever get."
She sniffled as the girls were also feeling super emotional as well.
"Now let's make a wish." He said.
She nodded and she blew out all of the candles weakily, but still strong enough.
