Once on a midsummer night
Promises are made in a field of fireflies
One day we'll swim in the sea of stars
Voyage the world and make our mark
Once on a perfect paradise
It's the galaxy against our specks of light
One day we'll be faster than the wind
Set the sails, putting on our thickest skin
Amidst the storm
As we open every door
Step on every land turning all the stones
But on every land, with you I would only feel like home
Once in a tiny pocket dimension
Hopping thoughts turn to a dance of confessions
One day I hope we could be more outside the bottle
And take the universe full throttle
Once, turn to more than twice
A hope we hold on with all our might
It all depends on this last summer night
As we count down 'til dawn's morning light
Amidst the crowd
Will you seal my doubts
As you step on your own land, unfazed with all the stones
But will you imagine my hand, and still call me your home?
Once on a midsummer night
There was you and I
I will call your name to the stars
Hope the sound could travel far
Once on a midsummer night
There was you and I
But worry not, I'll stamp the mark
So that they will know the brief voyage of our hearts.
