Her golden light casts a huge shadow over us
But we're too blind to care,
Field of flowers in her hair.
My frozen wasteland can't bear to adjust
But my icicles get thawed out,
My butterflies all bloomed and flew around.
One glance and you know nothing can take her place
Pluck most flowers in her garden,
It'll still never feel it was scarcen
Other girls had distorted to shades of grey
With how bright she glows
Ruby-laced from head to toe.
My eyes could've flashed with emerald
Towards the girl across the room
But all it did was make my mind too gentle
Like looking at the moon
Mountains of treasure beneath her feet
Shouldn't have to give the last trinket close to me
But I might for her
All for the prettier girl
Across the room.
It's like I'm staring at a piece of art
And cradling my heavy heart
On how I'm not the muse
Such a pretty classification
Hands are tainted with carnations
This is all because of you,
The girl across the room.
Clogging my mind
With your beauteous view.
