And so I walk with the silhouette of death behind me
Ever so slowly
The song of temptation harmonizing their melody
To deceive my wariness with the promise of a relief
That indeed you are there right behind me.
Ireful souls lashing out at my ability
To have begged the gods to have you returned to me
I heave a placid breath
Ever so slowly
Because you are right behind me.
Alas I am human, possessing my own foolish inadequacies
The song tempting than the sirens luring men to their demise in deep blue seas
Light in the brink of illuminating my darkened heart from this wretched grief
But momentarily, lamentably, paranoia crept at the god's measure of honesty
So I look behind
Ever so slowly
You are indeed there
And you have vanished behind me.
