iridescence

RED is the white rose painted with blood

That rushes to my cheeks as I am deeply in love.

The impassions adorned in this fire,

Redolent smoke piling up my desires.

ORANGE is the sunset looming our garden

Sprinkling the magic of worlds so foreign.

It's your arms as my sweaters in October autumns,

The passage of our time as we tend our Chrysanthemums.

YELLOW is the bright-eyed babes underneath the glow

Of the sun and the promises and soothes of Yarrows.

It's the delicacies brought forth by your laughter,

Your dimpled cheeks that my camera captured.

GREEN are the fawns in awe of the kales produced

Spending our days creating this natural view.

Gaia and her ivy haired dryads sing

Of the fresh and bountiful blessings we bring.

BLUE is the ocean floor descending to depths as your kiss

Residing on an island, distant from disturbances to our trysts.

Rock our bodies with the flow, breathe the introspective air,

With crystal clear ambience, lulling our despairs.

Oh how sweet, to live our peak in INDIGO

Leave a trail for our shrine and mosaic windows

Have our fingers interlocking under VIOLET skies

Somewhere over the rainbow, the lovers' flash all its iridescent light.
