I used to believe
That my own life is all there is to everything
And then I see
How a single star can alter our destiny
The universe is quite funny
One minute I'm in mine then I'm in yours
We had to figure out the rules of this anomaly
To a point where you know my name and my story.
I know how you wake up from a dream
You know how I walk in the bustling streets
You see me smile, I see yours too
When we both cry, we know our cue
I like your favorite foods
You like my messy room
It keeps going on for weeks
I wonder how long it'll last
But the more it takes
The more we don't want it to stop.
Truly wonderful,
How there's so much out there for me I have yet to see
You came along
In ways I didn't expect the stars would write it.
Unbelievable,
You exist at all
Everything is like a dream, I didn't wanna get up of
So meet me at the rendezvous
I'll be right there waiting for you
Never knew you live a life like this
Who knew it'd be so beautiful
To be intertwined like this?
I can feel you
But why can't I reach you
I've had enough of this cruelty
So can you remember my name for me?
But unexpectedly
The stars did something twisted.
I know your name
But you didn't recognize me
Perhaps a clog in the machine
Has to be a mistake, I doubt it
So I gave you a piece of me
Will you keep it safe?
I'll be patient
You may not know mine yet, but I'll treasure your name
For days, for weeks, for months I'll wait
Hoping you could at least see me when you're unconsciously awake
Oh I'll wait, I'll wait.
Why does beauty have the most limitations?
To be honest, I'm getting tired of it
If only we live in another life
Where our timeline's not a barrier
I want to feel the breeze of September,
Make snow angels with you in December.
My mind may forget,
But my heart's a treasure chest
I've written your name inside,
And the key to open is in our own eyes
We blink once, we blink twice,
No matter if you're out of sight,
I will always run to you
Run across space and time.
What does it feel like?
To love someone you've never met?
"I love you," said someone I might forget
I didn't catch your name, chances are lost for it to be said.
And so now we lived through memories that never took place
I always wake up from a dream seeing your face
I'd find myself tangled in red strings of fate
It seems endless, but then I saw the flow of your hair
I knew I couldn't waste it to despair
Maybe you are the answer
For all the insanity the world tried to conquer
We keep passing but we couldn't say words
But then finally, from our own lips we heard:
"Can you tell me your name?"
