Meeting
I decided to put all my worries behind my back as I wore my crown and long gown again. It's been a while since I've been the Princess and not the simple university girl. Masyado na akong nasasanay bilang si Lia lang kaya naman pakiramdam ko ay ibang tao ako ngayong araw.
"You're perfect." Faye smiled, admiring my look. "Are you ready?"
"No," I admitted. "But I have to do this."
If Castiel will really show his face to me, then I'd have to do something to make him change his mind about me. Lahat gagawin ko para ma-turn off siya at umayaw sa planong pagpapakasal sa'kin.
"Remember, don't mention anything about Charteris University," Kuya Cairo said as we walked towards the grand stairs. Beside him is his gorgeous wife.
"Why?" I mumbled, playing with the huge ring on my right hand.
"Because it will do you no good. You haven't been officially presented to the public but you're already mingling with them. Besides, there's no use in telling them about your expenditures and personal plans. If they ask you, talk about the things you've learned and your hobbies. That's it. Limit what you share."
I frowned and got confused. Hindi ba't dapat malaman ng fiancé ko kung ano ang ginagawa ko ngayon? I thought he's supposed to know about me attending school outside Costa Vira.
Tatanungin ko pa sana si Kuya nang i-announce na sa guest namin ang pagdating naming dalawa.
"His Royal Highness, Prince Cairo Miguel Dominguez, and his wife, Princess Madeline Louise Dominguez."
Pagbukas nang pintuan ay pumasok na silang dalawa. I smiled at the presenter when he bowed his head.
"Her Royal Highness, Princess Cordelia Monroe Dominguez." Chin up and walk straight.
I took a deep breath before walking inside the room with my chin up.
Habang naglalakad palapit ay napatingin ako sa dalawang mag-asawang nakatayo katabi ni Kuya Cairo.
Oh my gosh.
They're the King and Queen of Enoch, one of the most successful countries in the whole world.
My eyes immediately look for Castiel but there's no one else in this room besides the six of us, including their niece, Princess Debora. Siya ang dapat papakasalan ni Kuya noon.
"Your Majesty," I greeted the King, showing my perfect curtsy. "Her Royal Highness," bati ko naman sa Reyna niya.
They both smiled at me and acknowledged my presence.
Bigla namang tumugtog ang trumpets, kaya humarap na ako sa pintuan.
"His Majesty, King Alessandro Edward Dante Rodriguez!" As respect, we all curtsied in front of my dad except the King of Enoch. He's on the same level as my father so there's no need to bow his head.
