Worries
That night, or really, not just that night, but for several days afterward, I had trouble sleeping, contemplating all the possible outcomes that could have happened if I had allowed myself to like Rohan.

"Alice, alis na muna kami. See you next week!" Faye told our friend.
She pouted and pretended to cry. "A weekend without the two of you? Ughhh sucks. Pero okay fine. Dito ko na lang patutulugin si Adrian hahaha!"
Nagkatinginan kami ni Faye bago kami tumawa.
"Basta wag papabuntis ng maaga ha," biro ni Faye sabay kuha nang phone niya na nasa table.
"Got it!" Alice smiled. "And for you, Her Royal Highness." She curtsied in front of me and I couldn't help but giggle.
"Ay nako, baliw ka talaga."
"Enjoy! I can't believe you're going back to the palace to celebrate with the King. Ang cool talaga!"
"Hayaan mo, kapag pwede na, I'll invite you over."
Her eyes widened in shock. "Ha! A tea with the King?"
"Milk tea with me, ayaw mo?" I joked around.
"Pwede din," pagtawa niya.
Faye and I hugged her before we left our dorm room. Nakalabas na kami ng building nang makita namin si Dan. Kasama niya ang mga kaibigan niya at mukhang nag-breakfast sila outside since sabado naman ngayon.
"Going out?" He asked us.
"Going home," I answered with a smile.
"Oh? Biglaan naman yata?"
"It's my father's birthday."
"Astig. Isn't today the King's birthday as well?"
I froze and so did Faye.
"Uhh, which king?" Faye pretended not to know.
"Seryoso bang hindi mo alam? Syempre ang hari niyo. King Edward's day is one of the most talked about events in the whole world every year. I remember the first time my family went to Costa Vira to join the celebration. Grabe mahal na mahal siya ng mga tao, ano? Talagang nagfi-fiesta kayo. Bawat kanto, may handaan. Lahat nagsasaya. It's too bad I can't be there this year."
Nakahinga ako ng maluwag. Mabuti na lang ay hindi siya nag-focus sa magkaparehong birth date ng tatay ko at ng hari.
"Oh, e bakit hindi ka pupunta ngayon?" Faye asked, probably feeling relieved as well.
"I felt lazy but if I knew you two would go, I would have said yes." Tumingin bigla sa akin si Dan. "Sayang."
