'This is my new bag and look at this Mumma...I am going to also wear a uniform!!!' she brought her brown and white colored uniform and jumped with excitement as she showed it to me. She was going to kindergarten this year as she turned five. A few weeks from now her Grade-K was going to start and she looked super excited.

'Wooow!!! At times she is such a photocopy of her father!!!' I heard someone's voice and I turned around to see Simone sit next to me as she casually popped a strawberry from the bowl she carried in her hand while she casually sat on the floor where I sat observing little Roshni who had gelled extremely well with me within one afternoon. I was surprised.

But honestly, I enjoyed her company. I always wanted a daughter. I don't know if the one in my belly is a girl or a boy but I was already happy that now I have a daughter in the form of Roshni. I didn't know if there was any future to mine and Mr.Nayak's feigned relationship but I know one thing for sure that it's not going to affect my bond with Roshni.

I couldn't believe that I came here to discuss things with Mr.Nayak in the morning and it's almost going to be evening now and I've done everything but that. Honestly I didn't even realise when time passed as I spent time with this little firecracker. She is so cute and adorable that I just couldn't divert my attention elsewhere. I was smiling to myself looking at little Roshni when Simone snapped a finger in front of my eyes and I immediately looked at her when she smiled saying

'Well I know she's cute but you are already too much Mommy mode on Anika!!! You need to kind of calm down especially when you are yourself carrying one in your belly!!!' she said leaving me shocked. My jaw almost dropped when she said that.
