10 hours since Anamika had gone and we were still looking for her.

The police had found the vehicle in which Anamika was kidnapped. But unfortunately neither Anamika nor that bastard was inside it. It was an abandoned vehicle on one of those dark and less commuted streets.

Since then... the investigation has reached a dead end. There has been no progress, no information, not a single clue about their whereabouts leaving me restless, irritated and extremely angry.

Simi offered me a cup of coffee but I shook my head. Even a drop of water wouldn't go down my throat knowing she has been away from us...from ME since last ten hours. I regretted and cursed myself for ignoring her, shouting at her. Wasn't there a more matured way to handle all of this? Maybe I should really have listened to Kevin and Simi. What was I thinking while ignoring her for the last ten days.

Was my ego bigger than her safety?
No!!! I could have dealt this better if only had I used my sane side rather than thinking from my ego!!!

Just then we heard someone from police department walk towards the officer and shaking their head. This is all that they have been doing since last couple of hours. I hated this helpless look on their faces. That's when someone from Jack's team walked into the room with a few printouts and said

'Sir!!! Look at this!!!' and suddenly everyone looked curiously at Jack and he nodded saying 'Good job!!! Atleast something !!! Thanks Jo!!!' and I immediately lunged towards Jack when he said 'Sir!!! We looked at the maps and randomly started checking for routes that he could take. There was public transportation that he could take but knowing he's on a run and we all are looking out for him, if he can leave his comfortable vehicle here and escape, he definitely wouldn't risk taking public transport. Which means!!! It's going to be a private vehicle and like expected he wouldn't ask for a driver.'

I raised an eyebrow asking 'Did you guys find the car then?' and Jack nodded saying

'Looks like he rented a self driven taxi with a fake address proof. But...'

'But what Jack???' I asked when he said

'He is on a run!!! Our men are following him Sir!!! And we suspect he's got Mam unconscious!!! Because the pictures that we found has someone tied and lying down in the back seat. He's... he's very cautious Sir!!! He's trying to go towards the harbour!!! Which means he's probably trying to take the sea route.'

'He could even try to leave NY!!!' police officer said when I was worried. The officer said 'Do not worry Sir!!! We will alert our team at the harbour!!! We will tighten the security!!! He won't be able to escape!!!' assured the officer. But I didn't want to take a chance this time. So when my men were following his car, we reached the harbour. I wanted to be ready to personally welcome the asshole. He did the biggest mistake of his life trying to touch what's mine. Time to tell him how precious fingers are for a human being.

We were at the port waiting for him when Jack's team informed us that they have captured his car and they have him at the gunpoint. I felt relieved.

We immediately rushed towards the cars where Jack's men had surrounded him although I couldn't see Anamika anywhere.

'She must be still inside the car!!! Let me check!!!' saying Jack approached the vehicle but unfortunately instead of Anamika he pulled out a human sized dummy covered in clothes out of the vehicle leaving me shocked.

Where is my wife???

I lunged at the man when Jack's men removed his mask and to our surprise he wasn't Meet. I had seen Meet's pictures and this wasn't him.
