It's match day in a few days. I'm excited but I also just want to sleep. I'm what normal people would call 'sick' but I don't believe in that over here. If i'm sick the sky is blue. Even if Nimah does and hates it when I'm sick. It's and oh well.
I get Charlie loves me and all, don't get me wrong I love her too but not enough to not play in a derby, against the shit of all teams, I mean... spurs... yeah I meant that.
Theres nothing better than beating them, it's like the world gets a hundred times better than before and nothing can change the positive mood for weeks. Years. Millions of years. I think you get my point anyway.
Anyway, we've got training today, some light training and recovery tomorrow and then match the day after. It's going to be a fun few days, woohoo.
Don't get me wrong I love playing football and I love playing here at Chelsea and all but like seriously, training a couple days before a match intense, training a day before the match is light but serious and theres no jokes.
Game day, no jokes. If we loose after a game no one talks and we just train for a few days, if we win we go back to pulling pranks so theres a lot on the line here.
The line being a fun day of pranks and the bad being recovery and the intense training for a week with no pranks.
I think I should pick winning and then doing pranks.
Anyways, ONE time I faked being sick because it was media day and I hate media day. They're nothing worse than cameras being shoved down your throat all day, you can barely go to the toilet without a camera I swear. You get out the bathroom to see a camera waiting for you!
It's whatever though. But this time I actually feel sick! Like always though no one believes me because it's 'just another prank' according to the others, like what the hell, I'm sick bitch believe me and feel bad.
Nimah had to practically drag me out of bed today, normally I would be racing around getting ready for training but even with this she doesn't think I'm ill. I get it really but like still.
After a long, slow, tiring hour of getting ready and having Nimah do my bag today for me we was finally ready to go. As we reached the front door I leaned against it for a second, leaving Nimah waiting outside to get in the car.
"Come on babe, we're going to be late!" Nimah said rushing about as I unlocked the car, stepped outside, locked our door and then slowly staggered over to the passenger seat deciding Charles should drive us to the grounds today.
I'm pretty sure before we even left our driveway I was asleep.
All I remember was being tired looking out a window, to black, and then it stayed like that for a while. Unfortunately, that dream of freedom was short lived as I was shook awake as soon as we arrived at the grounds.
"Come on love, let's go in yeah." Nimah said as she opened my door and helped me out, either sensing I was ill or thinking I was just overtired.
As soon as I got out and we had our bags I leaned against her, putting my head on her shoulder. Suddenly becoming a hundred more times comfortable not having to stand on my own.
"(Y/n/n) come on, I can't get us both in on my own." I groaned in response not wanting to leave her side.
Luckily enough for Charlie, Millie (Bright) ended up arriving before we even tried leaving our car.
"Hey you two, whats up?" Millie said as her joyful self, I'm going to be honest it has made me want to punch her so bad right now. Not because I don't like her but because I'm tired, I'm ill and I'm not ready to deal with this at 10am.
That's the earliest time I should be waking up, or any normal human being but no 'thats too late and you need to be ready to train by then' according to Emma.
"(Y/n/n) is either actually ill or faking it." Nimah stated while rushing through her bag trying to find something while holding onto me.
"Why don't I take him in for you? We've got a meeting first anyway don't we." Millie said obviously trying to help Charlie which obviously worked as she let out a small nod and we all began to walk inside, minus me who is getting a piggy back. I'm obviously the favourite on the team.
-time skip-
It's safe to say I slept through the meeting and now trying to do training. Key word being 'trying.' I'm not really able to keep up today and Emma thinks I'm faking it along with a few others on the team but the medic, Rachel, seems to think I'm telling the truth which I'm glad about.
We've finished around three quarters of training by now and are just finishing up with and 11 vs 11. Twenty minutes long, ten each half.
I'm about five minutes in the first half when I felt like I was going to pass out so I slowly sat down on the field and led down, Nimah and Millie instantly ran up to me.
-time skip again cause I'm lazy-
Well I'm ill apparently. NEVER would've guessed that would you? Not like I said it or anything.
Emma apologised to me and Nimah took me home.
"Nimah."
"Yeah whats wrong?" She asked, moving her fingers through my hair.
"Do you think I'd be able to play against spurs?"
"You're asking me that?" Nimah said rain an eyebrow, clearly not impresses with something. What, I don't know? I haven't done anything so it can't be me for once.
"maybe if your better by then but you definitely wont be starting, I'll make sure of that."
"Thats not fair." I complained to my beautiful girlfriend.
"Well love, life isn't always fair is it. Get some sleep." I was told, her fingers still moving through my hair and her whisper still lingering in my head.
"I love you." I say slowly drifting off, not really aware of what I was saying.
"Get some sleep love." Nimah repeated again and paused for a minute.
"I love you too (y/n/n), I don't know what I would do without you." Nimah said mumbling the last part so I could just barely hear it.
It caused a huge smile to form on my face and I slowly fell asleep thinking about how lucky I am to have a girlfriend like Nimah Charles, I mean she's perfect in every way.
