You know what I dislike more than anything in the world about Spain. They don't know how to drive. Hold that thought.

"Hey Sanni, whats up?" I asked answering the phone, we never talk on the phone, we either text or voice message cause we're too lazy to try keep the conversation going at a certain point.

"Where are you, training started half hour ago?"

"See about that, there was this idiot driver. I wasn't breaking anything for once like I was inside the speed limit and everything, I used everything I learnt in my drivers course. Except this one idiot who shouldn't be driving because she's half blind." I say yelling the last part of my sentence so the woman could hear me, "Decided to ignore the red light and rammed into the side of me, now she's angry at me! can you believe it. She's the literal definition of road rage Paige, which fits because her name is Paige."

"Uhhh wow. Thats a lot. I'll come meet you up there, I'm sure you'd like company if you have to wait awhile."

"Ok, see you soon yeah." I responded, smiling so hard I'm sure she could hear it through the phone.

Within around 20 minutes Sanni pulled up in her car and rushed over to me, I was sat on the curb while waiting for the tow, head in hands. Could I sit in my car, yes I could, does that mean I'm going to? No, no it doesn't because for some reason the floor is always better.

As soon as she got close enough I was wrapped into a tight hug, as if that I would disappear if I wasn't held tight enough. The familiar warmth of her embrace surrounded me, and for a moment, the weight of the world slipped away.

"I thought you were hurt," she murmured into my shoulder, her voice trembling slightly. "You said you got into an accident, and I got really worried."

"I'm okay, I'm here unarmed looking as good as ever aren't I." I said with a slight chuckle.

"Don't joke about it." Franssi said, horrified, slapping my shoulder lightly. "Plus, you've got a cut on your head, and it's bleeding. You need to get this checked out, we'll go in a minute."

I could see that she was scared, even if she tries to hide it, her eyes give it away, even if she tries to play it off with a smile. This wasn't just another accident to her—it was a reminder of how fragile everything had become, the fact that she has lost people due to stupid accidents like these before, it makes it more scary. I reached out and squeezed her hand, trying to reassure her with a confident grin, but the truth was, I felt the weight of it too, I was scared that it would've been worse, and that I might not see her again.

"Hey," I said softly, "I'm sorry. I just... I've got to laugh about it, you know? Otherwise, it's just too sad and 'oh you could've died."

Sanni nodded, her expression softening, but the worry remained etched in her face. "I get it," she whispered. "But you're I need you, you cant leave me. Plus I'd be pretty lonely without you so please try to not scare me like that."

I pulled her into another hug, feeling her small frame shake against mine. For a moment, we just stood there, holding on to each other like it was the only thing keeping us tethered to this world.

After a long moment, she pulled back, wiping a tear from the corner of her eye. "Okay, enough of this sappy stuff. Let's sort just wait for them to turn up so we never have to come back here again... or wait here again."

I nodded in agreement, casting one last glance at the street behind us and the two cars in front.

"Lead the way, boss," I said with a playful smirk, trying to lighten the mood again.

Sanni rolled her eyes but couldn't hide the smile tugging at her lips. "Shut upppp," she said, her finish accent suddenly becoming a lot stronger.

As we began leaning in to kiss road rage Paige had to interrupt. "Not to interrupt but I need you to pay for my new car."

I tilted my head sideways, squinting at her., she stared back.

"Why you looking at me like that!" She snapped suddenly turning into the hulk.

"Just trying to see if you make more sense at a different angle." I responded to which Sanni laughed but tried to cover it up with a cough.

")Y/n/n) thats horrible thing to say... but it was a little funny I'll give you that." Sanni whispered in my ear which cause me to look at her and smile brightly.

"glad you like my comebacks, takes a lot of brainpower." I laughed which earns me another right slap on the shoulder.

"What brainpower?" She smirked.

"You wound me with such words." I gasped holding my hand to my heart.
