You shed tears
You will yourself not to cry
You lock up your emotions so that no one will know
But that only makes things worse
You doubt yourself
You take the blame
You put yourself down
You tell yourself your not good enough
You beat up and tear down everything confident
Your greatest enemy is you
You try and fight it
But sometimes it's all too much
Yet you know you will overcome yourself
Your master
And the real you will take control
