Superman:
He sometimes had a habit to hold the baby on one hand as he has big and strong hands so he knew he could and then he had one hand free, but that made you scold him and take the baby back. So he had to promise to hold them properly. When their diaper became heavy and warm he froze then asked if you want to hold them again. He felt as if it was so inappropriate for him to be changing the baby, even if a boy, just because it felt weird and it isn't his baby. But it had to be done so he did it.
When he had to hand the baby back to its guardian he was a bit sad but also quite relieved. He chuckled to you "Let's not do that again" as his expertise is more in fighting villains, not taking care of babies.
Batman:
He's fine with kids. He practically raised all the robins and batgirls himself. But they were never babies. So when you handed him the baby he froze and tensed up so much that you had to remind him to relax. He just held it, assuring you he will hold it and you do all else. But you made him also help feed and change diapers so he can learn. He didn't mind, was just worried he would hurt the baby, but it didn't happen.
After you two handed the baby back his arms were quickly around you, asking with a smirk if you wanna go get a baby of your own.
Wonder Woman:
You had to hold the baby whole time as she would let it crawl off things or just roam free. She knows baby safety but also thinks 'it will make them stronger'. She did good but her uncertainty made her not want to do a lot of things to explore her skills. So you had to convince and reassure her before she finally began doing more things with the baby. Not that there's a lot to do: it's a baby. But she liked it. Helping the baby, seeing you hold them, all of it made her feel funny inside and begin to picture starting a real family with you.
So once the baby was handed back she talked with you about it. Just all the questions: if you want babies, how many, when, or if you don't then why, just the things a couple should discuss as it is very important and a life changer.
J'onn J'onzz:
He was a dad so he knew exactly what to do. He knew how warm the food should be, what they can even eat, how to change diapers, the tricks, etc. You felt as if you shouldn't come between as he was doing so wonderful but he noticed so he took your hand and guided you to the baby, assuring you this is something you two are doing together. If you never dealt with a baby before he calmly told you how to do it all.
Having to hand the baby back was when it hit him. It felt as if he had to hand over his children again. He thought he would be okay but now it made him realize why he liked taking care so much: because he was picturing his children again. So you had to rub his back and comfort him but also tell him the reality; tell him he did amazing and you can only begin to imagine how he feels but this isn't his baby. He gave a nod, whispering he knows, then finally handed the baby back. He waved at the baby as they walked away, feeling immense sadness and forsakenness settle in.
Flash:
He loves kids! And kids love him! But a baby? They tend to cry a lot with him. That theory proved true. You held it and it was fine, but second Flash held them they began crying so loud you were quick to take them back before the whole city complains. So he focused on getting the needed supplies and just waving toys around to keep the baby amused. He took some pictures and videos, saying you look like a proper parent like this and he's definitely showing the rest at the league. You had to keep busy with the baby so he did everything around. He even prepared dinner and fed it to you, laughing "You feed the baby, I'll feed you."
When the baby had to be given back he waved at them, wishing them well and saying "Goodbye, little buddy, stop by anytime."
Hawkgirl:
She was so caring and good. You really saw she would make a good mother. She supported their head as she held them, laughing while asking things like "Who wants some food?" or "Who is a good baby?" and rocking them to settle their cries. She found it exhausting and didn't see her own skill in it, but she can crash after the baby is back in the right hands. When she saw you taking pictures she got embarrassed, scolding your name loudly which made the baby cry so she had to quickly rock them and assure them it's okay then give you a glare that said she'll get payback soon.
When she handed them back she laughed about all the chaos with the guardian. Of course she was a bit sad but they aren't hers to keep so she rubbed their cheek, chuckling that it was a pleasure to have met them. Second they left she flopped down on the nearest seat with a big sigh, saying she's glad that's done. A second of silence then she admitted she hopes that the guardian will keep her updated on the baby's status or the baby contacts them when they are older.
Green Lantern:
He thinks he's bad but he was very good at it. He held them properly, fed them with the right temperature milk. He was very serious about this as this is a fragile small living thing in his arms. He didn't want to even put them down so had to do turns holding them. He just didn't want to risk the typical tale of "put them down one second and they are already risking their life". He searched up things online to be extra certain before you two did it. So when at one point you joked your and his kids will be the safest kids around it made him blush and sheepishly say he just wants to be sure.
So when the baby was finally taken back to their parents he let out a sigh and rubbed his head, yawning that you both deserve a good long sleep now. Both slept cuddled for so many hours; truly having needed it as taking care of a baby was more exhausting than people would think.
