I have no clue if this is in-character or ooc but I hope it's enjoyable either way.

WARNING: This describes violence, gore, such things.
Superman:
His worst enemy: kryptonite. He hates it so much. So, so much. He laid on the ground, as if five million pounds are pining him down, forced to watch as the enemy drags you by your hair around. You had tried your best to fight but had grown exhausted as hours passed, so they managed to grab their moment when you made one mistake. Now had to pay for that mistake by having your body thrown, face bashed, hair ripped off.
Superman's voice was silent and loud at the same time. It was hoarse but clear. "Let them go!"
The second he saw them grab your hair, lift your head back, and go to smash it into a broken piece of glass sticking up he found the strength to put his foot firmly on the ground and push off.
Like a runner would. And he smashed his shoulder so hard into the enemy's body that they went flying miles. He did not care.
Not one bit.
All he cared for was you. Trembling on the ground, coughing specks of blood, reaching for anything to use as weapon. So gently he took your hand, put it to his cheek, and whispered: "It's me. It's me... You are okay now. I'll keep you safe. Like I should have." You saw it in his eyes: he will not let this one go. He can show mercy for a lot, but not this. This cannot be forgiven.
Gently he put your hand down, slid his arms under you and carried you to the side, out of the way of any danger, then promised "I'll be right back" and walked away.
Your hand reached out, fingertips grazing his cape, but he was gone.
Batman:
You sat behind an unbreakable glass, in a small room, with a person wearing a sack with only holes and paint on it. The paint formed a red sadistic smile, making no one have to even wonder who is behind this.
Batman was here as well, on the other side, forced to watch as he struggled to break the glass. He tried to find another entrance, a door or a vent, but nothing. He was forced to watch and shout fake promises of "It'll be okay!" as the person took out tools. A knife to carve letters into your skin. A clamp to pull your fingernails off.
All Batman could do was shout "no!" and try to destroy the glass with all he had. Soon he resorted to punching it.
Maybe from all the things he had already tried to destroy the glass, or maybe it was truly his pure rage, but the glass began cracking with each punch. And so was his fist. Each bone cried out as he hit the glass over and over.
The hidden person was now frozen then snickered, soon laughter. The second the glass broke Batman jumped through, used his non-broken hand to knock the person right out, then crouched in front of you. He could not speak, he was speechless. This was because of him. If he only was more focused, been here sooner, had not left you alone. He untied you with both hands, not even able to process or realize he has broken his hand, then whispered "I'm gonna touch you" and slid his hands onto your waist to pull you up then helped you through the broken glass and out of there. The walk was silent until he whispered "I'm sorry", but you answered a simple; "Don't." Whether it was a 'don't apologize', 'don't do this now, I don't want to talk' or a 'don't, I can't forgive you' he does not know, but he kept quiet and helped you into the Batmobile.
Wonder Woman:
She got thrown away so she needed a bit of orienting to understand what just happened and where she got thrown. But when she heard you scream her name with true panic and pain, she knew exactly where you are and how to get there.
