Continued, at Billie's house...

"Billie, for the last time, that's not a fucking verb!"

"There's no fucking way it isn't!" I argue. "I'm the one tutoring you, I think I would know." Jordyn rolls her eyes. "Ugh, whatever." I sigh.

"Just finish the last few questions I gave you, that's it." She tells me. "Okay, fine." I respond and do as I'm told.

I've been studying and she's been helping me for the past two hours. Like I told her I was going to do, I've been nicer. I feel so much better like this.

Being my normal self is so much better than that tough guy bullshit.

Once I finish the work, I look up at Jordyn and see she's looking back at me. "What?" I ask. "Nothing." She shakes her head and quickly looks away. "Um, so.." She clears her throat before speaking. "Let me see your work."

I nod my head and hand the paper to her. Her eyes quickly scan over it before she hands it back to me and nods. "You did it. Good job." Jordyn smiles. "Thanks." I say nervously as I look down at my lap.

"Well, I guess I should get going.." She declares and gets off of my bed. "Could you stay a little while longer? Not for tutoring." I say. "For what?" Jordyn asks. "I don't know. Just to, like... hang out or whatever. Not, like, as friends," I chuckle nervously. "Like, I-I don't like you that much."

"Would you stop with your bullshit and just tell me you wanna hang out with me?" She rolls her eyes. "Fine. I want to hang out with you." I mumble.

"Then sure, I'll stay." She nods. "Not, like, as friends." She says, mocking me. "Shut up." I laugh. Jordyn chuckles and sits back down on the bed. "We've never really hung out before outside of school that wasn't for tutoring, so what should we do?" She asks. "My friend, Natalie is having a party. We're going." I say.

"No, no, I don't do parties." She shakes her head frantically. "C'mon, it'll be fun." I tell her. "No, I can't, Billie." She sighs. "Please?" I look up at her with pleading eyes as I poke my bottom lip out. "Fine." Jordyn sighs in defeat.

"That's my girl." I smirk and get up. Jordyn's face turns red and she gulps nervously. "I- I didn't mean it like that. I was just, like, saying that for.. you get what I mean." I sigh.

"Mhm." She nods her head and looks down at the floor. "Let's go." I order.

Jordyn gets off the bed and the two of us go out to my car. The two of us get in and I start to back out but notice Jordyn doesn't have her seatbelt on. I lean over and grab her seatbelt before buckling it in and Jordyn asks "What are you doing?"

"You- you just didn't have your seatbelt on." I mumble. "Aw, you care about me?" She asks teasingly. "What?! No!" I say quickly. "Um, I mean, I just don't wanna... get pulled over. Yeah, that."

"Mhm." She rolls her eyes and smirks before going onto her phone. "What are you doing?" I ask. "Mind your business, O'Connell." Jordyn says. "Texting your little girlfriend?" I scoff.

"I'm literally just scrolling on Instagram." She shows me her phone and I see she's telling the truth. "Oh."

"Why do you even care? You literally have a girlfriend." She sighs. "What? No, I don't." I tell her. "Natalie?" She furrows her eyebrows. "Natalie isn't my girlfriend." I say. "Then why were you fucking eating her face, like, two days ago?" Jordyn asks.
