2 weeks later...

"No, I told you I'd come over tomorrow." I tell Billie over the phone as I laugh. "Girl, you always wanna see me."

"It's February break and I haven't seen you in over a week!" Billie exclaims. "I'll see you at school tomorrow, I promise." I say. "You're coming over to hang out, right?" She asks. "To tutor you, then we can hang out." I correct her. "Ugh, when will this shit be over?" She groans. "When you start being a better student." I laugh.

"But doing school is so boring." Billie whines. "Bil, you have to. I get you don't want to go to school and all that, but you're legally required to." I chuckle. "When did you become my teacher and my mother?" She lets out a dramatic sigh and buries her head in her pillow.

"Dude, you're literally gonna get your ass taken to court if you don't go to school." I tell her. "Oh." She mutters.

She acts like she's 8 sometimes, I swear.

"Alright, well, I have to go, but I'll text you later." I say, sitting up and getting off my bed. "Why do you have to go now?" Billie asks. "Um, Normani got out of her PHP today, so I'm going to see her." I admit even though I'm terrified she'll get mad.

"Oh." She says. "You guys.. you're not, like, together anymore, right?"

"No, why?" I furrow my brows. "No reason, just wondering. You guys- you're just hanging out, right?" She questions.

Damn. What's with all the questions?

"Yeah, Billie, that's what friends do." I laugh. "Oh, y-yeah, yeah, I know that, I was just... checking." She tells me. "Mhm." I roll my eyes playfully. "I'll text you later, okay?"

"Okay." She nods her head. "Um, bye, Jordy." Billie smiles shyly. "Bye, Bil." I smile and hang up the call.

Why does she almost seem... jealous?

Is it because I'm hanging out with someone else?

Oh, right, so normally, this would be weird for you guys to hear. Like, Jordyn and Billie hanging out? No way.

Well, like you've seen previously, things have gotten a lot better between us. We have a break from school right now, but we're going back tomorrow, but anyways, we texted and talked a lot during this time.

And she's sweet.

So sweet to me.

I never expected this, but I'm so glad it's happening because I don't know how much longer I could handle Billie's shit anymore.

Thank god she dropped that bad guy act.

Anyways, I'm about to go to Mani's house to see her since I haven't talked to her in two weeks and I miss her. My feelings for her aren't exactly gone, but honestly, I'd prefer being her friend than her girlfriend. I don't want to ruin our friendship.

I grab my keys before heading downstairs and putting my shoes on. Once I'm ready, I go out to my car and start driving.

I begin driving over to Normani's house and once I get there, I park in the driveway.
