1 week later..."Jordyn, Billie, it's time for school, girls."
I open my eyes and see Maggie, peeping through the door. We're at Billie's house and I've been staying here for two days so far.
"Alright, I'll get her up." I say to Maggie, pointing to Billie as I let out a small laugh. "Good luck with that." She chuckles before leaving the room.
"Billie baby, it's time to wake up." I say, gently shaking my sleeping girlfriend. She groans and mumbles something into her pillow.
"C'mon, Bil, we have to go." I repeat. "Baby, I don't wanna." She whines. "It's our first day back after spring break." I tell her. "At least go today."
"Please, Jordy." She mutters, burying her head in my chest. "Why do you not wanna go?" I ask her. "I- I don't feel great." Billie answers. "Aw, baby, are you sick?" I furrow my eyebrows.
"Um, I don't know, maybe." She shrugs her shoulders. "Lemme go talk to your mom." I say. "No, don't leave." She says, pulling me back down as I try to get up.
"Billie, stop being difficult for one second." I sigh. "I'll be right back."
She sighs in defeat and I kiss her forehead. "One second."
She's such a big baby sometimes.
"I'm not soft" my ass.
I walk out of her room and into the kitchen where Maggie is. "Maggie, Billie says she isn't feeling good and doesn't want to go." I tell her.
"She does that all the time. She's probably actually okay." Maggie chuckles. "I don't know, she just really didn't want to get up. She didn't even want me to leave even for even a second just to talk to you." I explain.
"I guess you guys can stay home." She sighs. "Will you just check in with your dad to make sure it's okay?"
"Yeah, I can do that." I nod. "Thank you, Maggie."
"Of course, sweetie." She smiles softly.
I grin back at her before going back into Bil's room. I sit back down on the bed and Billie pulls me close to her, resting her head on my chest. "Okay, what's wrong, baby?" I ask her. "Nothing." She mumbles. "So you don't actually not feel good?" I question.
"No, no, I still don't feel good. I just need you right now, JJ. Is that okay?" She asks. I sigh and nod my head. "Yeah, B, it's okay."
"Thank you." She whispers. I hold her in my arms and she eventually falls back asleep.
I don't know what's up with her.
She's acting weird.
After a few, there's a knock on the door. "Come in." I say quietly. Finneas walks in and sits down on the edge of the bed. "She's asleep?" He whispers, I nod.
"Aren't you guys back to school?" He asks. "Mhm." I reply. "Why didn't she want to go today?" Finneas furrows his brows.
"I don't know, she was being weird about it." I shrug. "I think she just needs a day maybe."
"Let me know if you need me, okay? Sometimes she gets like this.. just randomly. Has she been, like, clingy?" He questions. "Yeah, she hasn't wanted me to move or do anything." I shake my head.
He hums. "Weird."
"Well, I'll let you guys be, but you know where to find me if you need anything." He smiles softly at me. "Thanks, Finn." I grin.
He nods his head before walking out of the room, shutting the door behind him.
I pull out my phone and text my dad since Maggie wanted me to.
