6 months later...

"No, I told you petunias, not daisies!" Jordyn groans over the phone.

Jordyn is a total bridezilla.

"Ugh, fine, I'll hold."

"Baby, you gotta chill out." I laugh and rub her hip. "They're pissing me off though! They got the flowers messed up and the wedding's tomorrow!" She sighs in frustration. "Can you sue them please?"

"Uh huh.. whatever you say, baby." I nod slowly. "Thank you." She smiles innocently. "Oh, they're back." She whispers before putting the phone up to her ear. "Hello? No, Paula, I'm not going on hold again. I'm getting married in less than 24 hours!"

I roll my eyes and laugh before going over to the couch to wait for her to get off the phone.

A few minutes later, she comes in the room, still on the phone. "Listen here, if there's not petunias there tomorrow, I will be giving you a 1 star!"

She hangs up the phone and sits down next to me, crossing her arms. I burst out laughing and she groans. "What?"

"You've gotta stop. You're gonna give that poor woman a heart attack." I giggle. "She's giving me attitude! Like, last time I checked, you're not getting married tomorrow, Paula. I am! I ordered 200 dollars worth of flowers for the tables and they're my favorites!" Jordyn huffs. "No tulips?" I ask.

"No, those are in my bouquet." She replies. "Oh, okay." I nod.

I've let her do all the planning because if I got in the middle of it, she'd probably rip my head off.

But I did pick out my suit. It's black with a red tie and pockets and I think Jordyn will really like it.

I can't wait to see her dress.

And take it off of h-

"Oh, did I show you the plaque I made for my mom's seat?" Jordyn asks. "No, not yet." I shake my head. "Let me go get it." She gets off the couch and walks out of the room.

Jordyn made a reserved seat sign for her mom at the wedding since she can't be there for her big day. She's been really upset about not getting to walk down the aisle with both her parents.

But she knows there's nothing she can do about it.

She comes back and hands me a plaque that says "RESERVED FOR A SPECIAL ANGEL"

"This is so cute, baby." I smile. "You think my dad will like it?" She asks. "He'll love it." I tell her with a grin. "Thank you." Jordyn smiles sweetly.

She walks out of the room to put it away, then comes back in and sits down on the couch. She curls up next to me and I wrap my arms around her, planting a kiss on her head. "I love you, baby girl. Your mom is gonna be looking down on you, so proud tomorrow."

"You think so?"

"Mhm." I nod. "She's gonna be there in spirit, my love."

Jordyn looks up at me and kisses me softly. "Thank you, Bil. I've been really upset about her not being here, but that makes me feel a lot better."
