Chapter 10 | The Truth

Jenn.

Ok just knock on his door Jenn. Its not like its over right? I rang the door bell hearing it from the inside and foot steps getting closer to the door.

"Oh jenn! I was gonna text you!" Jake said looking happy to see me.

"No need" I walk in his house.

He closes the door behind him and we go to his room. He gives me a smirk as he slowly closes his bedroom door. He comes over and rubs my arms.

"You ok?" He noticed my not so smiley face.

"Uh well i wanted to ask you something" i say moving his arms off me.

"Shoot" we sit.

"Were you looking at other girls on the beach yesterday?" I just say it.

"I was looking around but not at girls" he lied.

"Why would you ask that?" He questioned me.

"Matt saw you. He even saw you wink at one girl"

"Matt doesn't know what he is talking about"

"He doesn't lie Jake" i start raising my voice.

"Maybe he thought I did"

I could see through his lie.

"My first boyfriend is a lier" i mutter.

"Excuse me?" He heard.

"You're lying" I say with a tone.

"How do you know?" He starts getting mad.

"Its clear and Matt doesn't lie to me like that"

"Fine, I was but at least I didnt have my crush be all over me"

"What are you talking about?!" I start yelling.

"Shawn is all over you and you're to blind to see it!"

"How many girls have you really dated Jake?!"

He just looked at me mad. I knew it wasnt just one.

"Thats what i thought" i open the door and head down stairs.

I could hear Jake following me.

"JENN!" He yells.

I turn back, "WHAT?!" I was in tears.

He all of the sudden kisses me but i push away.

"Youre kisses arnt gonna do anything for you this time.."

I walk out his house. I keep walking wiping off my tears. Jake was such a great guy but then you get to know him and see his true colors.
