Chapter 15 | Thank You

Jenn.

I wake up to the smell of pancakes and bacon. I jumped out of bed and looked at my calendar. On todays date it said my birthday. Im 19. Damn. I went downstairs and saw Matt and Shawn have a big breakfast feast and there was a couple balloons floating on the ceiling.

"2 things. 1, how did you get in my house? 2, you guys are ridiculous" i laugh.

"Ive had a key for years" Matt pulls out a gold house key.

I dont say anything but laugh.

"Grab a plate and lets eat!" Shawn yells.

We all grab a plate and serve our selves. I decided to go un healthy today and have pancakes with whipped cream and syrup with bacon. Matt went for eggs and a pancake and Shawn had 2 pancakes with a bit of eggs.

We ate it within minutes. It was so amazing. I wish i could have this every breakfast.

"So did your mom make this too?" I ask.

"No Shawn did" He smiles at Shawn.

Shawn looks up from his plate.

"Shawn cooks?!"

"Calm down i made the basic breakfast foods. Im not making anything fancy soon" he laughs.

We finish up breakfast. Matt and Shawn made me get ready while they clean. Usually im the one who cleans but they like to treat me on my birthday which is really nice.

I wore a light weight sweater and a black skirt with fish net leggings and comb bat boots. I brushed out my hair and left it all wavy and fun. I just added some light pink lipstick and mascara. I went downstairs and everything was clean.

Shawn and Matt looked at me as I came down. Shawn's face was priceless.

"Nice outfit Davis" Matt said.

"Thanks!" I smiled.

I looked at Shawn and he looked surprised for some reason. I dont see why its something i would wear.

"You ok or are your eyes glued open?" I laugh.

He shakes his head to wake himself up and rubs his eyes.

"Sorry just you look very beautiful"

"Maybe ill dress up a bit more than"

"You dont need to. Your just as gorgeous in pjs"

I started blushing and looking down. Matt looked at us both and smiled.

"Wow Mendes complimenting the birthday girl" Matt raised his eyebrows.

"What i cant compliment her once and a while?" Shawn asked.

"You barley compliment" Matt laughs.

"Well I guess thats changing" Shawn looks at me and smiles.

My cheeks were so red i didn't even need blush.

"So who is up for the carnival down at the beach?" Matt suggests.

"Sounds fun!"

"Sure, ill beat you at that manly test" Shawn chuckles.

"Your on Mendes" Matt says.

We head over to the beach and see millions of games to play. I grabbed Shawn by his arm to the game that had a huge stuffed adorable light blue elephant that looked like the softest thing in the world.

"Why we over here?" He laughs.

"Help me win the elephant!" I beg him.

"Ill try but you go first"
