Chapter 25 | Shawn's Point Of View

Shawn.

I come back with 2 drinks and find Jenn gone. I turn around and see Crystal.

"Oh hey Crystal"

"Looking for Jenn?" She asks.

"Yeah i got her a drink but she left" i explain.

"I saw her with a really cute guy and they went to the dance floor" she says.

"Oh, well you want her drink than?"

"Sure, thanks"

"No problem"

She takes the drink and sips it.

"Well im gonna go find myself something as cute as what Jenn found"

I laugh and she wakes off. I stand there just sipping on my drink. I guess that really cute guy was Daniel...

Jenn.

"Here you go" he hand me my drink.

"Thanks" i take it and sip it.

"Having fun?" He asks.

"Yeah this is amazing. What about you?"

"Of course because i met a pretty nice girl" he smiles

I blush but this time i didnt care if he saw. I was starting to like Daniel but i still remember what i told myself. Plus how do i know he isnt another Jake? Maybe i should stick to liking Shawn sense i actually, truly know his personality.

We finish our drinks and threw our cups away. Cool For The Summer started playing even though summer was pretty much over. I wasnt complaining i love Demis songs.

"Wanna dance?" I ask him this time.

"I would be happy to" he smiles.

We go back in the crowd and start dancing our hearts out. We got more close this time and he put his hand on my hips. Clearly the drink made us a little different but nothing crazy.

Good For You by Selena Gomez came on and everyone calmed down a bit but danced close and sexy with their partners. Even me and Daniel did. He turned me around and he put his arms around me and we swayed. He spin me back around and put his hands on my hips again as we swayed. I put my hands around his neck. Our foreheads touched and we kept swaying.

Shawn.

I see Jenn dancing with, who im guessing was Daniel, very close. I stopped liking Jenn for a while till every time we got some what really close to each other. I just wanted to kiss her. Then every time we were alone or saw her smile, i knew i liked her. Seeing her that close with another guy hurt of course. But i knew Jenn was gonna be more smart and get to know Daniel, or whoever it is, better. She doesnt want, nor need, another Jake. Ill always be here for her if he is another Jake.

There was defiantly a sign why we were in the same collage together. Im hoping its because ill be with her but maybe its because we need one another. Facetime or Skype itsnt good enough for our relationship. We need to be there in person. I know she will be there for me and i will for her too.
