Chapter 18 | Beca And Jesse?

Jenn.

The past few days have been just me in my room doing nothing. Ive told my friends yesterday what happened with me and Jake and of course, Matt got mad and Shawn just made fun of him to make me laugh.

Matt: Arcade with Shawn at 1pm?

Me: YAS! Need to do something with my life

It was 12pm so i had an hour to get ready which was enough time for me. When i was a pre teen i took like 5 minutes but i need more of an hour.

I wore a plain grey tank with a blue flannel over it and black jeggings. I looked like Beca from Pitch Perfect. So basically i never wanted to take off this outfit.

I kept my hair wavy and put on light make up. I wore some black converse and grabbed my bag. It was 12:45pm so i i left to go to the arcade.

I went in and there was kids screaming, loud music, lights, and the smell of cheese pizza filled the place. I started seeing Matt and Shawn walk up to me.

"Wow Beca cosplay?" Matt sipped on his soda.

"Well Shawn looks like Jesse right now" I point out.

We had the same colors on. He had a grey shirt on and a dark blue sweat shirt with jeans. We look like Beca and Jesse it was really funny.

"Well then i guess im Benji than" Matt says.

We laughed and then started walking around. We played so many games and i mainly one them some how. Matt only won one game but me and Shawn were tied till i beat him at a shooting game.

"Damn Jenn you beat Shawn. SHAWN!" Matt yells.

Shawn is so good at arcade games once Matt full on raged quit after Shawn kept beating him at one game like 20 times in a row.

"It was a close game he is still the king"

"Well if im the king can you be the queen?" He asked.

"Hmm let me think...yes" We smiled at each other.

"Well what do the King and Queen want to eat?" Matt asked.

"Tacos?" We say at the same time.

"Tacos it is!" Matt starts running towards the front entrance.

"Dread Doctors?" Matt asked.

"Yes" i reply.

"Ok could we not talk about Teen Wolf its too confusing" Shawn suggested.

"Fine. Then what should we talk about?" I ask.

"How about your letter your gonna get soon?"

Oh yay the letter that will either make me bounce off the walls or break my heart. Its a great collage for artist, photographers, animators, video makers, dancers, and more. Its a very creative and intimidating. Its called Creative Minds Collage. Its in LA and its been a dream for me to go there.

Theres barley 2 months left till this Summer ends so im gonna get the letter very soon. If i get in ill miss everyone. It will be so hard to leave them but it was gonna happen sometime in our lives. Plus there is Skype.

"Oh yeah the letter to determine if my life is gonna go according to plan or break me"

"Youll get in" Matt says with rice stuffed in his mouth.

I start stirring and looking at my rice and shrug.

Shawn touches my hand just laying on the table, "Jenn youre the most talented, beautiful person i have ever met. If they dont take you then thats their loss"

"Thank you Shawn" i smile at him.

"Of course" he smiles back.

"Bye Matt" Me and Shawn say has he leaves the car.

Shawn starts up the car again and starts driving to my house.

"Thanks for the ride" I smile.

"Of course" He smiles back.

10 minutes later were finally here. Shawn parks his car right in front of my house.

"Thanks"

"Youre very thankful arnt you?" He chuckles.

"My mom always got on my case if i never say 'please or 'thank you'" i explain.

"Well your welcome" he smiles.

I look down playing with my bracelet.

"You ok?" He asked concerned.

"Do you really think ill make it?" I look back up.

"Of course you will. If you dont then ill get you ice cream, pizza, tissues, anything you need to feel better"

I laugh a little, "Thank you"

"There it is again" he laughs.

"Would you rather me say 'thank you' in a different way?" I ask.

"Sure?" He says confused.

It was about midnight. We were in Shawn's car and the stars were out. We were alone. It was the perfect time. So i leaned in and kissed him. At first he was surprised. Then liked it.

Then he put his hands on my cheeks and kissed me back. I suddenly see in the corner of my eye Jake outside his house seeing me and Shawn kiss.

He notices i see him and casually walks back in his house. He deserves to see me with someone that actually cares about me and wont cheat on me.

All the sudden i hear my name over and over again. I open my eyes and im in bed and my mom is next to my bed.

"W-what?" I rub my eyes.

I was still in my "Beca" outfit. Did i really just dream me kissing Shawn?

"You got the letter" My mom says.

(A/n she just dreamed the part in the car but everything else was real)
