People say people don't change,
oh but they do.
They hide behind a mask everytime
they come in front of you.
You keep trying to figure out,
figure out if you really mean something to them.
And they end up convincing you,
that you're the only one for them.
In this process of removing the so-called mask and finding the actual person,
you lost your heart somewhere in between.
And now you deperately want it back,
but you can't intervene.
Cuz this matter left your hands
the moment your heart did.
Cuz no matter how hard it tries,
your brain can't win.
You've fallen for someone who's miles apart,
not in distance, no,
but definitely in terms of heart.
