Meredith Depp was the oldest daughter of Johnny Depp, and she was just two years old when her sister Lily-Rose was born, then a few years later her brother Jack was born. Meredith loved her siblings, but unlike them, she didn't try to follow in her...
Meredith knew her father would forgive her, but her brother and sister — not so much. They'd tell her she ruined her life, that she wasn't meant to be a mother yet, and she didn't feel like dealing with that. She couldn't handle getting rid of the baby, so she was going to learn to love the baby.
Since Meredith decided not to go home, her father helped her find a small apartment in Los Angeles. It was exactly what she had wanted, which she paid for with her own money. He had simply helped her find the apartment. The apartment was small, yes, but it was the perfect size for Meredith and a baby.
Against Meredith's wishes, her father paid to get all new furniture and appliances in her apartment. He just wanted to make sure that everything was perfect, he even hired people to make sure her electricity was wired correctly, that her heat and air worked, and that she had perfect plumbing and wouldn't need to worry about a leak randomly in the middle of the night.
Since they didn't know what the baby's gender was going to be, considering she was currently only two months along, her father purchased all gender neutral baby furniture and decor. He had went with the colors grey and black, but there was a little bit of white. He had gotten all the colors for Meredith's room to be red and dark grey.
Meredith spent a few hours putting away all her clothes, shoes, towels, bathroom stuff, kitchenware, and setting up her apartment to look like something she'd like to live in. As she was fixing up the apartment the way she liked it, she also made sure to clean every room. That's how she ended up finding the room under her stairs. At first it looked like a closet, but on the opposite side of the room was a closet, so she figured this was like a storage space.
She decided to turn it into a small game-like room. She went on her laptop and ordered the things she'd need to create the small room into a game-room. She then started unpacking all the food she had bought into her pantry and other places she planned to keep her food and snacks.
By the time she was finished, the sun was starting to set. She felt exhausted, but she was also hungry. She didn't feel like cooking, so she decided to go out to get some food. She needed to learn her way around LA anyway, and going out to find food was a good way to learn the area.
She decided to get a quick shower before she went out, since she knew she sweat a little while setting up the apartment. She didn't bother washing her hair, since it was up in a ponytail and out of the way. Once she had showered, she put on some clothes, and checked to make sure her hair wasn't a big mess.

Once she was dressed, she grabbed her keys and phone and headed for the door. She closed the door behind her and turned around to lock it. As she was locking the door, she felt a little body fall against her back. She stumbled a step, but caught herself with the closed door.
"Oh God, I'm sorry. He didn't mean to, he has--" The man began, but Meredith held up her hand for him to stop.
"It's fine," She replied,"Honestly, I'm so clumsy, I'd be surprised if I could make it down the stairs without tripping."
The little boy giggled, and when he looked up at her, he gasped. He quickly grabbed his dad's arm and pulled on it.
"She likes Marvel!" He exclaimed quietly, causing both adults to laugh.
"I love Marvel," She said,"Who's your favorite character?" She asked, and he grinned.
"Spider-Man," He answered,"Who's yours?"
"Iron Man," She replied,"He's my absolute favorite, and he's a really cool guy."
"Do you know Iron Man?" He asked,"I thought he was fake." He murmured, completely astonished at what he had heard.
"Oh, I know Iron Man, he's a pretty cool guy." She answered, and he stared at her with wide eyes.
"So, I guess you're our new neighbor," The man commented,"I'm Eddie," He stuck out his hand,"Eddie Diaz, and this is Christopher."
"Meredith Depp," She replied, and when Eddie opened his mouth, she was quick to cut him off,"Yes, I'm his daughter, but please don't tell anyone. I'd like to live here without people trying to break into my apartment."
"Uh, yeah, no problem," Eddie answered,"You headed somewhere?" He asked, and she nodded.
"I'm going out for dinner," She said,"I just need to find somewhere to eat that's not going to make me sick."
"We can show you!" Christopher exclaimed,"Right, Dad?"
"Chris, we can't just include ourselves." Eddie replied, and the girl chuckled.
"You two can come," She said,"I could use some company."
Eddie agreed to go with her, and Christopher was more than happy to go. Meredith hadn't really wanted company, but Eddie and Christopher seemed nice. They seemed like genuine people, and they were her neighbors, so she needed to get along with them. In a few months she'd have a baby, and they'd have to get use to hearing a baby around, and she hoped that if she was cool with them, they'd look past hearing a baby at three in the morning.
Neither of them mentioned a mom in the family, and Meredith almost wanted to ask where she was. She didn't want to look like a home wrecker, especially in front of the cameras. She didn't ask though, because she knew it was rude. Also, she didn't want to hurt Christopher if it was a sore subject, since her lack of a mother figure was a sore subject for many years. As she sat and chatted with Eddie and Christopher, she couldn't help but hope that maybe she'd get to be friends with them...
