About two weeks after Christopher's birthday, Meredith recieved a text from RDJ. He was telling her that the primere for Avengers: Infinity War was soon, and he wanted her to go. He also said that she could bring a couple of guests. It would be in LA, and he would have a limousine pick them up from her apartment.
Eddie wasn't able to come for the primere, but Buck was, and Eddie was more than happy to let her take Christopher with her. Christopher and Buck would be able to stay out of the camera's eye, but RDJ wanted Meredith to take some pictures with him and the others. She had met all of them a time or two, which was why he wanted her to take pictures with them.
"Hey," Susan, RDJ's wife greeted, as she hugged Meredith,"I'll take them inside for you. Robert and the others are waiting for you."
Meredith thanked her, before Christopher and Buck followed Susan into the building. Meredith headed to the others, as they were taking pictures and signing things for fans. When RDJ seen Meredith, he grinned and waved her over.
"Hey Mery," He greeted, as he pulled her into a hug,"I'm glad you could make it."
"Wouldn't miss it," She replied,"and when we take pictures, I need to stay forward, my belly is starting to show more, and I don't want anyone to know."
"Belly?" He questioned quietly, as they stood away from the paparazzi.
"God, I forgot to tell you," She grumbled,"I'm having a baby. I don't want anyone to know yet, except for Dad and you guys, I guess."
"With the guy you came with?" He asked, and she scoffed.
"I wish," She murmured,"No, but the guy who is the baby's daddy wants nothing to do with me or the baby."
"Well, you've got us, fuck him." He retorted, causing her to grin.
"Mery!" Jeremy exclaimed, giving her a hug,"I haven't seen you in almost a year!"
"Hey, it's so good to see you." She replied, a big smile appearing on her face.
"Ready for pictures?" Sebastian asked, and she nodded.
RDJ and Jeremy stood on either side of her, and their suit jackets covered her sides well, so nobody could see her bump from the sides. After all the pictures, everyone began to head inside. While headed inside, Meredith's news had cycled through the Avengers group. Everyone congratulated her, and promised to keep it a secret from the public, but a few asked to tell their wives, who were friends with Meredith, and of course, she agreed.
Anyhow, Meredith sat with Christopher and Buck throughout the duration of the movie. RDJ and Susan were sat on Meredith's side, and Sebastian and his mother were on Buck's side. Before the movie had started, Meredith had introduced Christopher and Buck to everyone, and some thought it was funny how close Buck was to the name of Sebastian's character Bucky.
Meredith couldn't lie, she cried at the end of the movie, when so many of the characters had dusted. The one that made her cry most was Peter, considering it held the most impact on Iron Man. The sadness and fear he held when speaking to Tony was sad as hell. Groot and Bucky's dusting scene was also very sad though, and because of her hormones, Meredith had a hard time not sobbing her heart out.
"I'm so glad I brought tissues and makeup wipes." Susan murmured to Meredith, causing the girl to laugh quietly.
After the movie ended, Susan and Meredith cleaned up their faces, and touched up their makeup. Once everyone was up and walking around, RDJ called over Tom Holland to talk to Christopher. Christopher only briefly got to meet Tom, but Spider-Man was Christopher's favorite, and RDJ wanted him to have some pictures to keep as a memory for the experience.
Christopher actually had the chance to take pictures with quite a few of the cast; Tom Holland, Tom Hiddleston, RDJ, Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, Chris Evans, Chris Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, Chadwick Boseman, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Jeremy Renner, Gwyneth Paltrow, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Don Cheadle. Buck and Meredith were in most of the pictures, since Susan had offered to take the pictures for the girl, since she had brought Christopher.
By the time the three were able to head home, Christopher was exhausted. He was still so happy though, that he was able to stay awake for almost an hour telling Eddie all about what he experienced. Meredith sent all of the pictures to Buck and Eddie, and she told Eddie that she'd have her father get the pictures printed and sent over as soon as he had the chance. Johnny knew the best place to get pictures printed, and Meredith really trusted them most with her photos. She didn't have to worry about them selling the photos to a newspaper or anyone for a quick dollar.
"Thank you for inviting me to go with you and Chris." Buck commented, as he got ready to leave.
"No problem. I thought you'd like it, and I needed a date anyway." She replied, causing him to chuckle.
"We'll have another date soon, and hopefully it'll be as exciting as this one was." He joked, making her grin.
Once Buck was gone, Meredith went to her room and changed into pajamas. She was very happy to have her heels off and her makeup removed.
"Thank you for taking Christopher to the primere, I don't think he'll ever forget it. You made him the happiest kid in the world tonight." Eddie said, after he had come back over after putting Christopher to bed.
"You know I'd do anything for you and Christopher." She replied, and he nodded with a smile.
"You're the best sister I could ask for, and Christopher could never have a better aunt." He commented, making her smile.
"Well, you're definitely my favorite brother." She answered, causing him to chuckle.
She was just glad that everyone ended up happy tonight, and nobody was left disappointed...
