Meredith was actually a bit excited that her brother and sister were coming to see her. She had been calling and texting, but they had been ignoring her for some time. The girl simply brushed it off, believing that they were busy. She didn't want to think that they were ignoring her, even though there was an inkling of suspicion that she knew the truth.

Anyhow, her brother and sister finally agreed to visit, so Meredith did everything she could to make them feel welcome. She and Buck went out to the store and bought food that the two liked, as well as drinks and snacks. They also bought the special glasses her sister liked, since she hated drinking out of anything else.

Jack and Lily-Rose didn't arrive until one in the afternoon, which was later than the time they had agreed upon. Meredith wrote it off, thinking that maybe their plane was late. Things happen all the time that make people late, so she didn't worry about them being so late. Anyhow, when they arrived, they looked like they couldn't care less about being there, and simply wanted to leave and go back home.

"I'm so glad you two could make it." Meredith said, as she hugged her siblings.

"Do you have my water?" Lily-Rose asked, and Meredith didn't pay attention to her attitude, she simply nodded her head.

"Yeah, it's in the fridge--" She began, but Lily-Rose cut her off.

"I'm a guest, aren't you supposed to fix it for me?" The girl retorted, and Meredith frowned.

"Don't you think she's a little too pregnant to be catering to you?" Buck questioned, crossing his arms.

"And who the hell are you?" Jack asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Buck, Mery's boyfriend." He replied, and Jack smirked.

"Oh, that's right, you're the boy she's got roped into playing baby daddy." He commented, making Buck frown.

"I think we need to calm down. There's no need for arguing." Meredith said, causing her sister to scoff.

"So, Jack decides to joke with your boyfriend and you jump all over us," Lily-Rose spat,"Typical."

"Never once have I said anything to either of you about anyone else. I really love Buck, and you two need to be nice to him." Meredith replied, and this angered her siblings.

"We're sorry we don't want to be nice to your makeshift baby daddy," Lily-Rose scrunched her nose in disgust,"You have always been one to sleep around, so we're not surprised that you're pregnant. We're also not surprised that you're searching everywhere for a guy that will fall head over heels for you, just so you'll have someone to take care of you and your baby."

"Honestly, Meredith, I don't understand why Dad is so nice to you. You get everything you want, and all you've done is fuck him over. I mean, you're having a baby to a guy that wanted nothing to do with you. Dad had to make sure nothing happened because of you. He's paying for the baby, because you're a shit mom. You do nothing but spread your legs, and now you've got another man wrapped in your little fantasy land with your nails dug deep." Jack added, and this was the last straw for Buck.

"Get out," He stated, causing the two to look at him,"Did I stutter?" He questioned,"Get out, now."

"You're not the owner of this apartment, nor do we have to listen to your dumbass." Lily-Rose retorted, and Buck let out a humorless chuckle.

"Get out, right now. You're not wanted in this home anymore," Buck said,"You two should be disgusted by yourselves. You're horrible people. I know now why Johnny has more time for Mery than for the two of you. You're both entitled little brats that need to be taught a lesson. Don't worry, karma will get your ass soon."

Jack and Lily-Rose stepped out of the apartment, and Buck told them to never come back, unless they planned to apologize to Meredith for everything they've ever said and done to her. Once he was sure they were gone, he grabbed his phone and called Johnny. He was not giving them the benefit of calling him first.

Buck explained to the man everything that happened, and to say Johnny was pissed was an understatement. He told Buck he'd handle it, and the man was thankful that Johnny was willing to listen and actually believe him. He was worried that Johnny wouldn't believe him, but it seemed Jack and Lily-Rose weren't the most innocent before either.

After talking to Johnny, Buck went to find Meredith, and it didn't take long to find her. She was curled up on her bed, tears streaming down her face. Buck was pissed, but obviously not at her. He kicked off his shoes and crawled into the bed with her. He wrapped his arms around her and held her close to his chest.

"Don't cry, Mery, they're not worth it." Buck said, kissing the top of her head.

"I'm sorry they were so rude," Meredith cried,"They've been mean to me for a long time, but I didn't expect them to say things like that to you."

"Don't apologize for them," Buck murmured,"They knew what they were doing. They knew what they were saying. You don't have to apologize for anyone. None of this was your fault."

Meredith took a deep breath, and calmed herself down a bit.

"I love you, Buck." Meredith said, and Buck smiled.

"I love you, too." He replied, squeezing her slightly.

Meredith was so glad that Buck hadn't believed a word Lily-Rose or Jack had said. If they would've made Buck leave, she would've been crushed. She never would've been able to forgive them, and she probably would've blocked all contact. She didn't block contact this time though, because she couldn't help but hope that one day her brother and sister would come to their senses and realize how they were treating her. She hoped that they would finally be the siblings she always wanted, but she almost believed that her hope was too far fetched...
