Tristan's POV
Gasp!
I was alive, maybe, I think. I touched my skin, hair, lips, and chest. It felt pretty real, I felt pretty real.Yeah, I was definitely alive.
I sprung up and whatever what latched onto my face fell off. I put the oxygen mask to the side and looked at my arms, tubes were shoved up my veins and I had some white paper braclet around my wrist.
"Tiffany don't leave without me! I'll be quick, I just forgot my phone in there," I heard a voice say outside.
I quickly layer back down and closed my eyes. I don't know why but for some reason, I didn't want anyone knowing I was awake. I was embarrassed, I didn't know why but I just was.
I opened my left eye slightly, Hinata grabbed his phone off a small table next to my bed and looked at me.
"Why's your oxygen mask off, Tristan?"
Oh shoot.
He lightly touched my eyelid and I flinched a little. He knew I was awake and now, I had to get out of the hole I buried myself into.
I sat up, "I just woke up after I don't even know how long, Hinata. Can't I just be unconscious a little longer without having to stress about what's real and what's not—"
He threw his phone on the ground and rushed to hug me, "I thought you died you idiot!"
"Hinata what's taking you so long!" I heard Tiffany's voice say from outside the door.
She walked in and froze at the sight of me. That's when I suddenly got a really stupid or perhaps a great idea.
"Tristan!" Tiffany exclaimed as she rushed to hug me, "You're alive!"
"Well I feel like a dead man now that you're here."
"Don't be rude."
"Then don't be manipulative."
Her face dropped completely but then turned to a vacant expression, "How could you say that to me, Trissy?"
"It's not like we're friends."
She took a step back, "What's that supposed to mean?"
"Want me to say it in French? Tu n'es pas mon ami."
"He's probably a bit drowsy. He just woke up from a short coma, Tiffany, he probably doesn't mean it."
"But I do!"
"No you don't," Hinata said as he took Tiffany's arm and walked out.
He walked but in to grab his phone but didn't make eye contact with me. The second he walked out, I buried my head into the stupid thin hospital pillow. I wanted to yank the tubes out of my arms and go home.

A few days later, I was forced to return back to the hotel. The field trip was supposed to be two weeks and since I was in a coma for two days, I didn't miss too much of it.
I kept thinking about how I should've have gone on the stupid trip and how I should've just stayed home but I guess I was there now and there I couldn't change my decision.
In the cab ride home, Mr. Baker had asked Hinata to pick me up.
"Who found me?" I asked as I rolled down my window. It smelled like a dainty typical dusty cab.
"Ben did. We were all soaked in chlorine and he wanted to be the first to shower."
"Did he say anything?"
