Tristan's POV
BY THE WAY, I PUSHED SOME OF THE OTHER CHAPTERS BACK. THE STORY IS NOW TAKING PLACE ON FEB 2ND AND THE NEW YEARS ONES ARE PUSHED BACK, IT DIDNT HAPPEN NEW YEARS IT HAPPENED LIKE DECEMBER OR NOVEMBER IDK.
"This field trip is so boring, why won't anything other than shopping and sight seeing happen?" I moaned as I flopped onto the bed.
"Something will happen soon enough," Hinata assured me, "Take it easy, though. You just got discharged."
"I'll be fine."
I hated how everyone was constantly reminding me about my little incident. I just wanted to forget about it and I wanted everyone to forget about it too.
Though maybe it would've been better if I stayed there.
I got up and looked out the balcony, "This hotel is fancy, how much funding did this school trip get?"
"I mean, we are going to be here for a month after all."
I looked at the small table next to the bathroom where my phone laid. I hadn't checked it since I had gotten out of the hospital.
I checked the messages first since I had a ton of them, ten-thousand-five-hundred-forty-three.
The first contact I opened was Carlos. He had spammed me the most, he wanted to know if I was fine.
Carlos: Are you alright?
Carlos: Answer me
Carlos: Why won't you answer me?
Carlos: Come on, it's been days!
Carlos: Okay now I'm definitely worried, Tristan!!
Tristan: Hey, Carlos. I'm fine.
I hit send and he immediately replied, Where are you?
Tristan: Why?
Carlos: Just tell me.
Tristan: I'm somewhere. Well, I tried to go nowhere.
Carlos: What?
Tristan: Field trip.
Carlos: For how long?
Tristan: A month.
Carlos: Have you seen Tiffany yet?
Tristan: I bet you've been seeing her a lot.
Carlos: I can explain.
Tristan: I'm sure you can.
1 missed call from "Carlos."
Carlos: Answer, please.
Tristan: Bye, Carlos.
Carlos: Tristan, wait.
Carlos: Tristan, don't be that way.
Carlos: Tristan?
The audacity, I thought as I blocked him. I would unblock him later that night but for now, I didn't want to text, call, or communicate with him. I didn't want to talk to him.
"Woah, who you fighting with on that phone of yours?" Hinata joked as he stood next to me.
"No one."
"Sure didn't seem like no one."
"I'm going for a walk."
"Ooh! I'm going with you!"
"No, you're not."
Hinata looked at me with sad eyes, "What?"
I put my shoes on and left. I needed some fresh air, and not the kind in the void. I needed real air.
I felt my pockets. I had left my phone in the hotel but I couldn't even remember where I had left it. Wasn't I just holding it? Oh, right. After texting Carlos, I threw it on the bed and left.
I looked around, I was in an unknown place and I had no idea where to go. I would probably get lost but if I got kidnapped, maybe my life would become a little more interesting.
"Uwah!" exclaimed a feminine voice from behind me, "You're so cute!"
"I've never heard that expression before," I said as I turned around.
"Well now you did! I'm Elle but my friends call me Rin for short!"
"And how do those two names even relate?"
"They just do, okay! Jeez, no need to be so judgmental!" She had slightly tan skin and was wearing a school uniform.
"You're the first Korean I've seen in a while," I said, "Do you know any words?"
"I'm fluent!"
I smiled and we began to talk to each other in Korean. Before I knew it, we were walking and talking and I had no idea where I was thirty minutes later.
"Need a ride? I can give you one!" she exclaimed as she pointed to a white bike, "It's a two seater."
This is where I get kidnapped.
I got on the back and realized I didn't have a helmet but, what could I do?
I took out my phone, "You wanted my number earlier so here's my phone."
"You told me, already."
I laughed as I handed her my phone. She punched her number in and gave it back. Soon, we were on the road.
When we finally arrived at the hotel, she gave me wink and peddled off.
I turned around and entered the hotel lobby and Tiffany was there waiting for me, arms crossed and she wasn't happy at all, "Who was that girl?"
"Aren't you dating Carlos?"
"Answer me."
"Yeah, no thanks."
I brushed her shoulder as I walked past her. I wanted someone to hit my head and knock me back into a coma, reality was too stressful and tiring.
