"That your Patibabu is a mess without you," Anirudh informed Bondita.

Her eyes widened at the confession. She was expecting a divorce but things took a different turn here.

He caressed her cheeks lovingly. "I am rightfully your husband, Bondita. And the only right I want from you as a husband is the right to claim you as my wife," he finally let out. "So tell me, Bondita. Will you give your Patibabu the right?"

Bondita stared in surprise. "Are you saying that... you want to make this marriage work?"

He nodded with a smile. "I want this to be a real marriage. I thought about this and I cannot think of being with anyone else apart from you. You are the key to my heart. I thought I would tell this to you slowly but I guess, it's better to clear it out now."

Her tears dried up way long back and now, she could feel her cheeks getting red due to the sudden shyness. "I give you the right, Patibabu," she said meekly, a subtle smile on her lips.

Anirudh chuckled at her cuteness. "You better," with that, he planted a soft kiss on her forehead.

"Bondita is home?" Keth's loud voice was heard by the couple. "Where is she?"

"Where else? Definitely with Dada!" Somnath retorted. "Dada, let us meet Boudi!" he hollered.

Bondita removed herself from Anirudh's grip and stood up. "Patibabu, now that we are finished talking about this, let's go and meet Som and Keth Dada."

She left the study before Anirudh could even say anything else.

She was flustered at the new turn her relationship took, but happy that they had this conversation.

"Bondita, there you are," Keth said, noticing her in the living room.

"Keth Dada!" she said chirpily and took his blessings. He blessed her with a smile and gave her a warm hug.

Then Som also hugged her.

"I am glad you are back. We missed you, Boudi," said Som.

"Did you have any trouble coming, Bondita? You should've informed someone," Keth had concern in his tone.

"This madam just wanted to surprise us," Anirudh appeared in the living room.

"Oh, look, who's out of the study," Ksj said sarcastically.

"Of course, Kaka. We will see Dada often now that Boudi is back," Batuk teased but stopped seeing the glare he received from Anirudh.

"Okay, enough, enough," Bondita stepped in. "Dada and Som, you two freshen up and then we all can have dinner."

Keth and Som nodded as they went to their respective rooms.

"Bahu," Ksj spoke up, wanting to test Anirudh, "Bihari kept your belongings in your room, as per your instruction."

Bondita bit her lower lip in nervousness as Anirudh looked at Kaka as if he had grown two heads.

Batuk was watching this with full interest.

"Why in her room, Kaka?" inquired Anirudh.

"Areh, why not?" he pushed Anirudh's buttons more. "Bahu has her own room so her belongings will be there only, right?"

Anirudh became annoyed at Kaka's response. He said in a loud voice, "She is my wife, Kaka, so obviously she will live in our room. So why will Bihari keep her belongings in a different room?"

A big grin appeared on Kaka's face at his confession. Batuk also raised his eyebrows, while Bondita lowered her head in embarrassment.

"Bihari!" Anirudh called out and Bihari rushed to him.

"Ji, Barrister babu?"

"Keep Bondita's belongings in my room. Got it?"

Bihari quizzically looked at Anirudh. "Barrister babu, they are already kept in your room."

Anirudh was dumbfounded and so was Bondita. Both of them looked at Ksj, who ended up bursting into laughter.

"Kaka!"
