A new day at the RC haveli.
Bondita wakes up from sleep and sees the time. It was five in the morning.
"I have to freshen up and then perform aarti," she mumbled and realized that Anirudh's hand was still wrapped around her waist.
She blushed at this. She enjoyed this new feeling, but she had to get up now. She tried to remove his hand slowly but his grip was firm.
So Bondita decided to wake him up.
"Patibabu..." she called out. "Patibabu..."
Anirudh just hummed in response, still not opening his eyes.
"You need to let me go. I have to freshen up," she informed him.
"Bondita, you can freshen up later," he muttered in sleep, not letting her go.
"I have to perform aarti too. Kakasasurji will get angry," she explained, and he finally let go. "Why don't you attend the aarti with us, Patibabu?"
Anirudh shook his head and turned to the other side. "I don't believe much in all these so don't push me much, please."
Bondita sighed and got up from the bed.

Chameli got out of her room, only to bump into Keth in the hallway.
"I am so sorry, Keth Dada," she said politely, looking at him.
Keth, mesmerized by her again, realized what she just called him. His eyes widened in shock. "Keth Dada?"
Chameli nodded innocently. "That's what Bondita calls you too so—"
"No, no, no." Keth shook his head. "You won't call me Dada."
Chameli cluelessly glanced at him. "Then what should I call you?"
"How about just Keth Babu?" he suggested.
She seemed to think for a while before nodding with a smile. "Okay, Keth Babu."
Keth felt at peace, hearing his name from her angelic voice. "You have a sweet voice."
She blushed at the sudden compliment. Lowering her head, she walked past him.

Everyone was at the breakfast table.
"Patibabu, finish this," Bondita scolded Anirudh, who didn't want to have breakfast in the first place as he wasn't habituated after she went away from him.
Bondita almost dragged him to the breakfast table and when Anirudh wanted to protest, all went in vain.
"I made you a barrister so that you can bring justice to other women, not give logical arguments to your husband," Anirudh grumbled while eating.
"So basically, Dada dug his own grave," Batuk joked.
"But Dada is a barrister too, so shouldn't he argue back?" Som pointed out.
"The way Boudi looks at Dada with her puppy eyes, I bet Dada forgets everything," said Batuk.
"No," Som disagreed. "Dada never forgets anything so I am pretty sure he chooses to remain silent."
"Som has a point," Chameli agreed with him. "Is it true, Anirudh Babu?"
Everyone looked at Anirudh, who was now ignoring everyone and quietly eating his breakfast as if this was his favorite meal of the day.
"Areh, everyone stop bothering my lovely brother," Keth decided to save Anirudh. "Bondita, will you go to the court today?"
"Yes, I will go with Patibabu," replied Bondita with enthusiasm. "This is my first day at court and I can't wait!"
Anirudh smiled at her. "Me neither, Bondita. I am so proud of you."
Their eyes meet as they get lost in each other.
"Bahu," Ksj interrupted. "I want to look for some girls to get Keth married."
"Really? Keth Dada agreed to get married?" she asked excitedly as all glanced at Keth.
Keth nodded. "Last night, I went to Baba's room and told him that I was finally ready to get married."
"That's great!" Anirudh uttered. "But what made you change your decision, Dada?"
Keth stole a glance at Chameli, which didn't go unnoticed by her as she could feel a bit flustered at that.
"Let's just say, I saw some people and decided that now it was my time to settle," responded Keth.
"Okay, so Bahu, I will tell Pandit Moor to come to our house tomorrow morning. He will bring a lot of proposals and we can select from those," said Trilochan. "So keep your schedule free tomorrow."
Bondita nodded.
Anirudh got annoyed at Kaka. "What is this, Kaka? You know Bondita will start going to the court form today and you are already telling her to keep her schedule free?"
"But it's important and I am sure Bahu can skip court just for a day. What's the problem here, Anirudh?" Kaka's words triggered Anirudh further.
He clenched his fist. "Problem? Kaka, don't you see the problem here? Today, you are telling her to not go to court just for tomorrow, and slowly, for every reason, you will tell her to stay at home instead of working. How's that not a problem?"
Trilochan's eyes grew wider at the accusation. "Why will I not want her to work? I agreed to her degree so why won't I let her go to the court? You are making a mountain of a molehill, Anirudh. It's just for tomorrow."
Everyone quietly watched this. Chameli was scared at the sight, thinking it was serious.
"I missed this," Batuk muttered with a small smile on his lips.
"Don't worry," Keth told Chameli. "It's a usual banter, which stopped because Bondita wasn't there. She made him promise to not argue with Baba while she was away."
"So now that she's here, this commotion between Kaka and Dada will be regular again," Som informed Chameli, who was still afraid.
"But what if this becomes serious?" she inquired.
"Boudi can control both of them. Just watch," Batuk answered.
Bondita, who was quietly watching Anirudh and Trilochan arguing, decided to step in.
"Enough!"
