Chapter 1 Time to kick some grass

Hop was as energetic as ever when telling me to hurry up to the station but little does he know I have the same ability as a Regigigas. When he mentioned that he collected a couple Pokemon then seeing how much I caught he was extremely disappointed. Understandable but he fails to realize that I have some goals on my hand. When we both got on the bus we were tapping like it was a rhythm game. It was probably awkward for him when I sent him some of my memes which he may not understand the purpose of, but I remained silent while he blabbered. The bus later crashes thanks to a bunch of Wooloo. That's weird. I did not expect something strange like that but honestly that is extremely funny. When we got into the wild area Hop mentions how it would be good to train out Pokemon then passive-aggressively said to me "and probably catch one". He proceeded to leave me be and I had some quiet time for myself. It was time I searched for a real starter which Baltoy did the job for me. This Baltoy was actually doing good for itself despite not being my favorite nature but who am I to whine it's still great.This Baltoy reminded me of this fighting game character I like so I named them Chun-Li. While training it I also picked up a serving of leftovers. These leftovers could do me a solid where I may be able to heal up something defensive like Chun-Li will probably grow up to be. When heading to the colosseum I received a jersey from the man at the counter. Mandatory for the days to come I made sure to have it with me at all times. We also met the snob known as Bede. He thinks he is superior to everyone because he was endorsed by the chairman. Superior to Hop maybe but to me? No chance.

After the registration we went into the Budew Inn. Sonia met us in there talking about a man with a sword and a shield that defeated evil during the Darkest Day. I liked history. So I asked for every detail possible. After she let our her nerdiness We unfortunately were blocked by some fans of a girl named Marnie. They like to call themselves "Team Yell" as in Sr. Pelo right? I love the channel so I confronted them. Realizing how stupid it would be to just get in I went to the train station to meet a Slowpoke that looks a little different. Took forever to catch mind you but it happened and I decided to name her Slowsis. She was skilled in areas but the possibility to evolve seems nonexistent. Going back after some grinding we fought the check-in blockers with their dark types. I was worried that I may fail due to dark being great against psychic. Despite this the first 2 matches were easy then Hop joined me which I let him without saying anything. He went after who I wanted him to go after knowing that the Galarian Zigzagoon is the bulkier one I wanted him to go after it due to fear of its survivability. While doing the battle I decided to pester Hop by spamming bulldoze which hits everyone including my partner. After the match was over we checked into our rooms.

Inside my room I decided to stare at the mirror. There was some noticeable taunting here targeted towards me. Predicting that I may die in this region. This might be some cruel prank or a warning sign however I do not care I just wanna persevere through the dangers. After showering and brushing my teeth it is time for me to go to bed. The dream of my personal gym with my psychic gang may become within reach. For now let's stay focused on the path we are going on now.

When I woke up I went outside and followed the staff to the colosseum. Putting on my jersey we met all the gym leaders. Hey! There is that one in the video I watched. So his name was actually Raihan. Hopefully I can demolish him and prove a point. After they left we walked onto the stage. For some reason I felt like breakdancing the entire time which would either be really funny or really stupid. After the ceremony I put on my red shirt again. Which is weird since normally all black or gray tends to be the clothes I wear. Before leaving the stadium this guy in a Pokeball head came over to me and made sure I brought a pokeball so he gave me a few and told me some facts. He then proceeds to ask if I wanted to get high. Going to route 3 Hop blocks my way again. Must have some confidence to beat me. Alight then time to show yourself. He sends out his Wooloo and I send Chun-Li to take care of it. After the earth defeats the Wooloo he sends out Scorbunny. My ground moves one shot the poor bunny. He sends out his Rookidee after this which is weird I would expect Scorbunny to be the ace. Anyways my rocks destroyed the bird which makes me the winner of the match. After his defeat the path was mostly clear for me except I had to beat up a kindergartener and almost threw hands with a cop. There was a woman by the cave I was entering who healed my Pokemon so she was spared from my wrath. Inside the cave I met a Woobat who I called Hearth. He was a part of my pan at the time since I noticed a grass type leader. While working my way through the cave I had to fight many constructionists and miners. Thankfully Chun-Li and Hearth are incredibly useful against each of them due to multiple using fighting types and then there is the rock/fire type Rolycoly which gets taken care of by bulldozing through. As we plowed through each member we stumbled across Bede. Bede was arrogant thinking that he was able to battle me before even noticing any feats I had.

The battle began when he sent out his Solosis and I sent out Chun-Li. Chun-Li did their normal speed lowering strategy towards Solosis. After 2 hits Solosis is put to rest thanks to my bulldozing Chun-Li. After the faint Bede sends out Hatenna. Realizing what I was going against it made me realize that we were both psychics training to be another gym leader. Now I know I can't lose otherwise it would make me feel like the inferior psychic. After bulldozing hattrem to oblivion he sends out his Gothita. Which I at first tried the same thing on until it got competitive. Worried about the dumb mistake I made by boosting the special attack by 4 stages I swapped into Slowsis. Gothita let out a massive psybeam to Slowsis who took a lot of damage but that was ok as my plan was to disable the psybeam anyways. Using that knowledge I disabled the move and finally went back to Chun-Li which let out more bulldozes finishing off the goth once and for all. After Bede got angry and left we get out of the cave noticing patches of grass. I found children in Pikachu and Eevee suits while also noticing there were Pikachus which gave me the idea of looking for an Eevee which mind you took an extremely long time. However, for now I chose to ignore it. While walking to the gym a Yamper went over to me. Chasing it out of curiosity it lead me over to Sonia. Sonia decided to show me the picture in the hills. My guess was that it resembled the Darkest Day which was correct. There seems to have been massive Pokemon during the period with dark clouds shrouding the world as if it was going to end. After the nerd talk I chose to look for an Eevee. Luckily maybe a half hour later I found and caught an Eevee most likely thanks to Hearth's damage. The Eevee gave me thoughts to call her Twilight. Trying to evolve both Hearth and Twilight we went camping so they can actually trust me. After a while neither of them evolved so I just went into the gym. With the psychic uniform on to show them who's boss I got ready to get a bunch of Wooloo rounded up. Which had me do a few battles, none of them were a problem. After the fights and the mission we went up to Milo ready to steal his badge.

Milo starts off with his Glossifleur where I reveal Hearth. Hearth with his windy cuts casually chopped the flower up. However, to be fair a hit was nailed into Hearth. After the Glossifleur was defeated Milo sends out Eldegoss who dynamaxes.Due to the moment I also decided to dynamax Hearth with him using his airstream. Eldegoss lands a strike doing tons of damage however while trying to cast overgrowth Hearth decides to shield. After Hearth heals Eldegoss lowers Hearth's health by a bit. Eldegoss and Hearth shrink back to normal size. This is my chance, I must uproot the cotton. After healing Hearth again his streams of wind blew away the poor Eldegoss who could only use it's leaves to try and stop Hearth.

After the win Milo gives me his gym badge and we had some small talk on how the badge system works and the effects they all have. The first time I held a normal conversation with someone in Galar but that was not all. As a reward I can now teach any of my team that can learn it, the move magical leaf. While I may not use it at all, it is worth noting as it will hold dear to my memories of this vacation.
