Chapter 16: Isn't this really chaotic?
Burn the bridges, Would you you rather have it all? Or have none of it?

Archery grounds.
Narrator's POVRight.
This was one of the greatest mistakes Percy might have ever made.
Having an archery contest with the Goddess of The Hunt is a stupid mistake.
It was one of the moments Percy realized that his opponents regardless of their power, had centuries if not more to hone their skills to perfect layman's terms; They had more experience.
In this Archery contest, despite it being his first time holding a bow, he was a prodigy even with a sloppy stance he managed to hit a bullseye 4 out of every five times he made a shot, That sounded nice, right?
Except before he took a shot, Artemis had taken a dozen, She enchanted the match with unlimited arrows, As long as Artemis pulled her bow, it was guaranteed to hit a bullseye and with the ratio of 1:12 Artemis had her win handed to her on a golden platter.
Percy didn't want to accept it, But it felt like she was holding back which made him feel even worse.
"I accept it, This is my loss."
Percy threw away his bow to the side and gave up sitting on the soft ground while sighing.
'I have a long way to go'
"Don't give up."
Artemis tried to cheer him, But Percy gave her a dead stare, It was only logical, Why would he fight a battle with no chance of victory?
Then he remembered he challenged Zeus and Ares on the same day.
'I seriously need to rethink my Life choices, No wonder most demigods don't read adulthood.'
"The score is 11-120, Only Chaos can make me win this."
Percy meant it would take a miracle to win this, making a smile make its way to Artemis' face but when the Goddess realized it she went back to her Stoic expression, She had to put her emotions on constant checks, The moment she lost to the boy then got ignored the days later she failed to realize the boy had already gained her bias interest.
'Should I? '
'No.'
Chaos offered to help Percy win if he'd just pick the bow up again But Percy declined, What type of person would he be if he needed the help of The Creator to win a simple game?
'The creator's favourite person?'
Percy failed to keep a straight face after her reply.
He'd ask for a rematch after actually practising his bow.
"Come on Perseus, You're a monster at this, This might have been your first time holding a bow but you still made 9 out of 11 bullseyes."
Artemis froze when she went over her own words.
'Am I cheering on a male?'
Even Percy felt as if something was wrong as he subconsciously itched away, Depending on her next choice of words he'd fade into the shadows.
"Don't get me wrong, I don't mean I give up as in I'll never ask for a rematch, I meant I give up till I understand the basics of Archery."
Percy wasn't a quitter, He was a stubborn one, He made it clear.
"I'll always come for a rematch unless I win, Or I die from old age."
Percy declared with a smirk, He trusted his battle styles, He had to fend for himself from a young age, Everything from his brutal fighting styles to the mastery of his sword was all a result of him trying to survive but he felt the only way to master the bow was either he threw himself at hordes of monsters with only a bow or he received tutoring from some of Apollo's kids.
