Chapter 30: The General's Appearance
Narrator's POV
Bianca was silent. "You should tell Thalia the rest of your dream."
"No. It would not help."
"But if your suspicions are correct, about the General—"
"I have thy word not to talk about that," Zoe said. She sounded anguished. "We will find out soon enough. Now come. Dawn is breaking."
Nico scooted out of their way. As did Percy.
As the hunters left, Nico was about to follow them, But he didn't...
Percy stopped him.
"Don't go."
He took off the cap and Nico could see him now.
"Woah"
Nico felt his heart leave his chest before he regained composure and realized Percy was cool
"Let's talk"
Percy knew what the boy was planning on doing.

In the end, Nico just wanted his sister safe, Even though she abandoned him, He still cared about her enough to want to seek after her.
He begged Percy to follow them and keep her safe thinking of Percy as the strongest person he has ever met.
Percy was going to follow them anyway; he had already made up his mind; regardless, he reassured Nico.
Following after the campers who were on the camp half-blood van, Driving to God knows where.
Percy followed them, thanking Chaos for giving him this levitation ability, He didn't want to expose his wings just yet.
He landed near the top of the Chrysler Building and watched the white camp van, thinking it would pull into the bus station, but it just kept driving.
"Where's Argus taking them?" He muttered.
"Well, it doesn't matter," he said. "Let's get after them."
He was about to leap off the Chrysler Building when his senses warned him in alarm. He reacted by jumping, but it was already too late. Something was curling around his leg like a snake. He formed an ice sword, but when he looked down, there was no snake. Vines—grape vines—had sprouted from the cracks between the stones of the building. They were wrapping around his ankles firmly so he couldn't move.
"Going somewhere?" Mr. D asked.
He was leaning against the building with his feet levitating in the air, his leopard-skin warm-up suit and black hair whipping around in the wind.
"Mr. D." Percy kept his voice calm as the grape vines continued to wrap around his legs. "What do you want?
"Oh, what do I want? You thought, perhaps, that the immortal, all-powerful director of camp would not notice you leaving without permission?"
"I didn't think you'd care enough to chase." Percy shrugged.
"I would have thrown you off this building, but it just makes sense that a hero like you can fly somehow, Wait till Zeus finds out"
Percy noticed something was wrong with Dionysus's voice. It had a mixture of hate. "Is that hate I hear? We don't have a reason to fight do we?"
Percy wondered.
Purple flames flickered in his eyes. "You're a hero, boy. I need no other reason."
"I have to go on this quest! I've got to protect my friends. Not something I expect a God to understand."
