"Have you heard? Robb Stark captured the Kingslayer!" Melissa chirps happily, as she bandages up the wound on my leg, as we sit on the chairs inside the house of the man she murdered.

I do not listen to what she says as I watch her cautiously focusing on the bandages, tucking the end of it in so it will not slip off.

"There. Good as new." She looks up at me and smiles, placing my bandaged leg on the chair she had pulled opposite me.

"Thanks." I say, still wary of her presence. A silence passes us, as she pulls another chair beside me, and falls down onto it.

She leans forwards, her elbows on her knees as she looks at me intently.

"So. I guess you want to know everything." She smirks, and I raise an eyebrow.

"What gave it away." I say sarcastically. I am practically starving, and my leg is in searing pain. I am in no mood to joke around.

She nods, her smirk replaced with a serious look. She sits back on the chair, sighing as she looks around the room.

"I've been here before." She says, placing an arm on the table beside us, tapping on the wood, drawing a circle with her jagged fingertip.

I stay silent, waiting for her to continue.

"My mother, she was the daughter of a stonemason in a small town near the Wall."

"The Wall? You are from the North?"

"Yes, I lived in a small village near the Dreadfort. Can you not tell from my accent? This is why my surname is Snow, and not Leaves, like it would be if I was born in Marhal like you."

She leans forwards in her seat, eyes on the ground.

"My mother used to tell me when I was small, that my father was a man who had left for the Wall, which is why I never saw him. But last year, on my sixteenth birthday, she told me the truth." She falls silent, and sighs.

I raise my eyebrows, waiting for her to continue.

"A boy named Jaison had came to our door, shouting for me but my mother wouldn't let him through. He kept yelling he knew the truth about my father." She furrows her eyebrows.

"Jaison, my brother.." I say, linking it all together.

"Yeah, him." She nods. "I followed him though, and I caught up to him. He told me everything. You, your sister, my father. Said he'll only tell you when the time is right, and that a man named Littlefinger was looking for me."

"He came from Marhal to the North, just for you and to warn you about Littlefinger?" I ask curiously.

"That's what he said, but he also gave me this. He said I'd need it in case Littlefinger found me, but I thought you might know what it is." She rummages through her pocket, and pulls out a simple, copper coloured key.

She places it into my hand, and I pull it close to my face, inspecting it.

"I do not know, Melissa. I'm sorry." I hand it back to her shaking my head.

"Thanks anyways. And do you know who this 'Littlefinger' is?" She asks with air quotes, placing the key back into her pocket.

"He is a man that can never be trusted. My younger sister Anna, well, our younger sister, had struck a deal with him to find more information about you, and where you were. But Jaison must have realised that if Anna did not keep up her end of the deal, that he would come after you which is why he warned you. He must have known Anna would make a deal with him." She looks startled, not expecting a reply so serious.

"And Anna is no longer holding her end of the deal as she has run from Kings Landing, as I have, so he must be searching for you." She puts a hand over her mouth, eyes wide.

"He wishes to murder me, do you believe?" I nod.

"He will be angry that Anna is no longer supplying him with information. And killing you would be the only way to get back at her." I do not know for certain if this is what he would do, but it is more than likely. And this will help keep her safe if she is being cautious.

"So, how did you find me?" I ask her, wishing to change the topic.

"Well, after Jaison had left, my mother sat me down and admitted to everything. Our father had visited the Dreadfort while my mother was traveling back to the village sixteen years prior, and I guess it is obvious what happened." She shrugs sadly.

"I'm sorry for my father's actions." I say to her with sympathy.

"It's fine. Did I miss much without him?"

"My father was never truly close with my sister and I, only my older brother, Jaison. I believe he would have treated you no differently had he have stayed with your mother."

"Soon after my mother explained everything, she allowed me to search for you. She gave me a map with different places that you could be. I was on the way to Kings Landing when I saw that man trying to pull you off of the horse, and you looked almost identical to me so I knew it was you straight away, through that black cloak. Speaking of Jaison, where is he now? And father?"

I reach my hand out to hers as she stares at me with curious eyes.

"They are gone, Melissa. The Gods are looking after them now."

"Who are gone?" She says with a quiet voice, not wishing to believe what she is hearing.

"Our father.. and Jaison. It was the Lannisters. They are the reason Anna and I ran from Kings Landing. They are the reason why the Starks beheaded Jaison for attempted murder, and our father for false treason, when he truly knew the truth of Cersei and Jaime's relationship."

She stares at the ground in shock.

"And Anna.. she is being sheltered by the Night's Watch recruits, who will drop her off at Winterfell. But, I cannot find her, as I went along the road she was supposed to be on."

"Those bastards." She spits, standing from her seat, throwing her fist against the wall, holding it there as she leans her head on the cold surface, eyes closed.

"I thought.. I would finally have a family."

"And you can." I get up painfully from my seat, grimacing as my leg throbs. I limp towards her, placing an arm on her shoulder.

"Two of them are dead, and Anna is missing. How am I to have a family?"

"Help me get to Robb Stark. He can help avenge them, and help us find Anna. If we can reach Winterfell before he heads to war against the Lannisters, we can join him."

"A Stark killed our brother, Marienne."

"Eddard was doing his duty, and he found no enjoyment carrying it out, unlike the Lannisters when they murdered him and father.." I shake my head, closing my eyes as I picture the blood ridden stage once again.

We stay silent as Melissa thinks.

"So, if we carry on heading North, we can get to Winterfell, where Anna and the Starks will be?" I nod, and she copies my action.

"Fine. We will continue to Winterfell. We must stay here for the night, let you rest your leg."

Melissa leads me back to the chair, an arm around my back as she helps me into the chair. She walks around the room, looking for wood to burn in the fireplace.

Our plan seemed to have an air of confidence to it, that it will succeed. Yet, in Westeros, anything could happen.

___________

So, Melissa's story! Peter is probably looking for her to take revenge on Anna. Mari and Mel are heading to winterfell, hoping to find Robb and Anna, but Robb is already at war and Anna is going to try to head for the wall! The plan could work, though! You never know who they could meet on the journey to Winterfell.

Thank you to everyone who comments and votes! It really helps, and I am going to start dedicating chapters to people I see that comment and vote a lot to say thanks!
