King Robert: Sometimes I don't know what holds it together.

Cersei: Our marriage.

King Robert: So, here we sit, 17 years later, holding it all together. Don't you get tired?

Cersei: Every day.

King Robert: How long can hate hold a thing together?

Cersei: Well, 17 years is quite a long time.

I am forced to the ground by the Guards, as they hand the letter to Cersei. I look around the room, and see the dress she had let me wear in Winterfell hanging off of her dresser. The room felt like ice, as I knelt in silence, waiting for Cersei to speak.

"Well. When I told you we were watching you extremely closely, I did not expect you would slip up this badly." Cersei says, in a calm tone. I watch her as she gets up, and walks over to my knelt position.

She stands still for a second, watching me. All of a sudden, she strikes my face with her wrist, and I feel the stinging sensation burn the side of my face as it is jolted sideways.

"Leave us." She instructs the Guards, who stay in the same position.

"Is that wise, my Queen?"

"Now." They both bow to her, and walk out of the room, standing by the door, no doubt.

"Stand." She tells me, as she walks back over to her dresser.

I do as she says, watching her warily. I wish to come out of this with my heart still beating in my chest.

She picks up the dress, holding it up to me.

"Remember this, Marienne?" I nod.

"Speak up, I did not hear you."

"Yes, I remember the dress, my Queen."

She rolls her eyes as I speak, and thrusts the dress over the candle that was lit on her dresser. She watches as it begins to simmer, but blows out the fire before it can spread.

"The good old times." She says sarcastically, dropping the dress to the floor, and stepping over it as she picks up the letter again.

"Now. You have a bit of a dilemma on your hands, don't you?" She smirks, as she begins to read the letter out loud.

"She has captured Tyrion Lannister, claiming he is the reason my brother Bran fell from the tower all those months ago. She has taken him to the vale, where he will be put on trial, and if the lucks go her way, he will be thrown from the moon door, to his death. She does not care about the consequences. No one else can know of this Marienne." She holds the parchment over the candle as she did the dress, but this time lets it burst into flames.

I watch silently, as the only letter I have received from Robb is burnt before my eyes.

"So. My brother has been abducted by your 'loves' bitch of a mother, and you knew about it?" Her voice raises at the end, as she stares at me angrily.

"I did not know." I tell her honestly. She walks over to me and strikes me again, and my head is whipped to the side once again. I concentrate my focus on the floor as she begins to speak, but quieter than before.

"You see, I honestly believe you did not know, Marienne. Yet, you are also a peeve of mine for other reasons, and this is my chance to get rid of you, your family and the Starks all at once. Two birds with one stone." Her voice was deadly, and she clasps her hands behind her back as she circles me.

"Ned Stark knows about Jaime and I, a situation only you knew about." She says, stopping in front of me.

"You told him, did you not?" She asks, anger in her eyes.

I nod my head, and her face begins to redden.

"And I assume, from the sweet conversation Eddard and I had in the Gardens that your father was also informed. Yes?" Lying will not help me now, as I know she already has information she needs, yet wants to hear me admit it.

"Guess what Marienne? Your father is being held underneath the Red Keep in the Black Cell as we speak. And my dear Ser Royland managed to get him to admit he had planned to overthrow the crown the second my husband perished, even though I already knew this." She causally looks at her fingernails, and sits on the edge of her bed, smiling sadistically at me.

This was all a set up. She knew my father had planned to otherthrow the crown, and Eddard telling her what I had accidentally informed him and my father, was the icing on the cake. And the cherry on top was Robb's mother abducting Tyrion.

She was waiting for me to slip up, so she could finally have the upper hand. And now she does.

"Did.. did Eddard inform you of my father's plan?" I ask, my fists tightened together so she could not sense the fear that I felt.

She now had all the reasons to execute my father and I. And also Eddard.

"He didn't actually." She says in an upbeat tone, eyebrows raised, amused. "It was Peter Baelish."

How did he know about the plans?

My face drops as I realize.

"And Anna told him in return for information on Melissa Snow."

Cersei smiles, nodding. "You catch on fast. So you have your darling sister to blame for this all. And now, if I let you and your family, and the Starks go, I cannot trust that nothing will be spilt. So, executing you all is truly my only choice." She shrugs her shoulders nonchalantly.

Anna knew striking a deal with Peter Baelish has consequences. And these were it.

"Now, to tell you the truth Marienne, I could not care less for what happens to my brother Tyrion. Let Catelyn Stark fling him from the vale herself for all that I care." She waves a hand up in dismissal of her younger brother. "But, now, I have a vast quantity of evidence that can be used in convicting you of rebelling against the crown. And because my husband is dead, I can now orchestrate your execution just like that!" She says, with the snap of her fingers.

I shake my head frantically. "No.. you cannot do this. You know I had nothing to do with any of this!"

"Yes, I know, but no one else does. And what they do not know won't hurt them." She laughs. She was planning to execute me for something I did not do, and for accidentally telling my father and Ned about her relationship with Jaime.

"Cersei. Please." I say, as she calls the Guards back into the room.

"Maybe I'll convict your younger sister and the Stark girls, too." She says, tapping a finger on her chin, as I am dragged away.

"Cersei!" I yell, but it is no use.

I am a dead man walking.

___________

So! To clear it up: Cersei knows Mari told Ned and her father about the incest, and that her father was planning to overthrow the crown with Ned. But, she is also dragging their families into the execution (including mari, anna, Sansa and Arya) because she's a psychotic woman who feels this is the only way to stop the information of the relationship getting out, by pretending they were a part of it, and that they helped with the abduction of Tyrion even though they didn't. Plus, she just plain hates the Starks and the fortitudos.
