Anna's POV

"And who are you, the proud lord said, that I must bow so low?" Rains of Castamere. The Lannister guards sing it proudly as we all make our way to the Holdfast, where my brother shall meet his premature fate. The hills that surround Winterfell are frosting, snow almost aching to fall from the Seven Gods fingertips.

"Only a cat, of a different coat, that's all the truth I know." The King joins in with the guards, singing with more emphasis than all the guards put together which was based on his ruthless father in law.

My head is buried in Jon's back, arms around his waist to make sure I do not fall off. I block out the pain filled screams of my brother, who is being dragged along by a rough knot around his feet at the end of the King's horse, an agonizing and humiliating experience no doubt.

I hear Jon's pants as he urges the horse to go faster to lose the guards accompanying us to the death of my brother, and I carry on praying to the Gods for the release of my brother.

A hot tear rolls down my face as I know the uselessness of my prayers. From this day forth, I will no longer have a brother.

Or a father.

I see in the distance a gathering of people, and the steel block my brother will soon be knelt over.

As Jon gets closer, I can hear the screams and cries coming from Jaison's writhing body being held down by the foot of a guard as they slowly untie the rope, which stops as he looks up to see me, grey bags under his eyes.

"Anna! Tell them it wasn't me!" He yells, as Jon pulls the horse to a stand still, helping me off of it.

"Do not look Anna. If I were you I would not have come." Jon has a hand on my back as we walk closer to the block. It's pearling silver was tainted by the drops of hardened blood stained onto the surface, where many a head have been.

"That is where you and I are different Jon Snow, as you are not me." He does not reply, respecting my decision to be with Jaison, even if the guards do not let me near him.

The King walks up to Ned, who is wrapped in a fur cloak, looking as ominous as usual. Three Stark guards are stood by his side, smirking as my brother's body is dragged across the ground.

"Please don't hurt him!" I rush over to my brother, but as I kneel to help him up a guard pushes me away.

"Stand back, child." The Guard says with a firm voice, but I kneel next to my brother once again, knees wetting from the frost on the ground.

"You are paying for another's sin." I say quietly, looking over to my father who stands nonchalantly but the furthest away.

I watch Ned silently as Jaison continues to cry, and I feel as if my throat is closing as I try to speak to my brother. These are his last moments and I cannot bring myself to acknowledge this.

"I am sorry Jaison.." I say, my voice cracking as I feel the tears at the back of my eyes.

"My sweet little sister.. it is not your fault, there is no need to apologize.." Jaison replies between hiccups of sobs.

"Where is Mari, I thought she would come to say goodbye to her treasonous little brother." He looks down to his rope binded hands, droplets still falling.

"Robb Stark is staying with her after Jaime attacked her in the hall, she is still unconscious." One day I will repay to Jaime that blow he gave my sister to the back of her head.

Maybe mine will be a fatal one.

"Tell her I am sorry, I should of listened to her. Do not trust father, not for a second. He will sell us all out for his safety, I only know this now. I love you both so much, and mother, I know you will both do this house proud, I believe in you."
