Izuki vs Todoroki

Two simple words is all that's needed for Umbre to understand that Izuki has started to suspect someone as the traitor, so the moment she heard Izuki mumble "Follow her" she without a second to waste started tailing Hagakure.

Izuki looks up at the updated bracket, Denki was able to beat that vine girl from 1-B and will be up against Jackson who had previously beat Iida, Tokoyami quite easily beat Momo and will now be up against Mina, what's with all her friends having to fight each other during this? Unfortunately Evelyn lost to Bakugo, but she tried her best, Bakugo will be facing off against Kirishima, who had to have a tie breaker for his match, and Izuki... will be against Todoroki, here in a few minutes actually. She gets up and after talking with her friends, heads down to the field.

"The next contestants are Izuki Midoriya and Shoto Todoroki, both from class 1-A! Todoroki is strong, without a doubt, but is he stronger than Midoriya? What do you think Eraser?" "They both are strong in their own ways, in terms of raw quirk strength I'd say Todoroki, but that doesn't mean Midoriya's quirk is weak by any way, she was able to deal with the Nomu from the USJ attack by herself after all" Izuki can hear the whispers of the crowd after that is said, almost everyone in Japan knows what a Nomu is at this point, and how strong they are.

Two specific pros talk to each other in the crowd as the two students walk out. "Soo... you're only fully paying attention when a specific person is on the field, mind explaining why Xerneas?" The woman laughs and rolls her eyes at her friend, "You know full why Ryukyu" "True, true. But not even paying attention to how her friends do?" Xerneas shrugs "I only showed up in person for Izuki, I can see her whole class are incredible, her friends included, but I want to see how much she's grown" The pro on the other side of Xerneas looks over at the duo "You know that girl personally?" Xerneas sighs "Lay one finger on her and you'll learn why me and my brother were targeted over you, Endeavor. That answer your question?" "Yes, it does. She your kid or something?" "No. My niece" "It's starting you two, focus"

"BEGIN!" Izuki swaps to her fire form and melts the ice that Todoroki sent in the same way he did against Sero, but much smaller. "Just because we're classmates doesn't mean I'll go easy on you" Izuki laughs, "I wouldn't have it any other way!" She stomps the ground, causing cracks to appear and fire to explode out, which Todoroki mostly avoids but his whole left sleeve gets burnt off. Todoroki looks at his sleeve than at Izuki "I underestimated you, that's some power you have" "Maybe if you'd use both fire and ice I'd treat you like a fair fight, all I have to do is stay in this form and I win" "'fair fight'? Was that not your max?" "Nah, I have a few ultimate moves, and seeing how we weren't told we can't use them..." She trials off, with Todoroki's eyes widening as he understands what she means, that move, which had he not dodged, would have majorly hurt him... WASN'T the strongest attack she has.

The two continue the fight, and after a while Todoroki starts freezing himself due to not using his fire "Come on Todoroki, why won't you use your fire? I know you have it" "I will never use my father's fire in combat" Izuki sighs and stops her attacks "If you won't use YOUR quirk to the fullest, I see no reason to continue this fight" "What?" "You heard me" She turns on her heel and starts to walk away.

"What a twist people! Midoriya refuses to fight if Todoroki won't his quirk to the fullest, how odd!" Xerneas taps her foot, "What's your plan Hon..." "Tsk, stupid boy, quit your rebellious life and accept your destiny" She looks over at the man with a raised eyebrow.

Jack raises his eyebrows in surprise at what Mic said, "She can't be serious, right Jackson?" "No, she is. She hates it when people treat her like she's weak, even before she got her quirk. Regardless the reason" "Jack, we have to do something, shout for her to stop or something, she's almost at the edge" "There's no stopping her plan here, you know that Ev"

'Come on Izuki... don't just walk out now, you can't throw away your chance of being seen just because he won't fight you with his full power'

Just as Izuki reaches the edge of the field she feels heat behind her and turns with a smile on her face "Now that's more like it" She runs at him with flames flickering on her feet which after a second it looks like there's only a fire moving across the field, Todoroki creates a wall of ice which melts into a puddle of water within seconds. Todoroki sees splashes in the water and sends ice to trap her. 'I need a plan... it's clear she's now fighting with everything she has, so what do I do...' He continues to be on defensive, until a plan comes to mind, and he swaps to both using fire and ice to attack instead of only using fire to warm himself, and Izuki appears in the middle of the field in her water form, using it to put out the fire being sent at her 'She can't manage both fire and ice, and the longer I keep her in her water form, the better chance I have at beating her, she did say she can't be in her water form for too long. Which means either I outlast her, or she ends it quickly'

"Would you look at that folks! Midoriya's look has changed, I personally don't know much about her quirk, just that she has different forms with different elements tied to them, I wonder what the two of them are planning" "If I had to guess, Midoriya's mind is running through each and every outcome of this fight and how it could happen, while Todoroki is acting based off what she does. He has a small habit of doing that exact thing" "Ouch, a direct call out while commentating, that had to hurt his pride a bit" Izuki, for the second time in a fight, has to bite her check to not laugh, are Mic's jokes growing on her? 'His jokes suck, why am I starting to laugh at them? Problem for another time'

She stops Todoroki's fire with her water but fails to see the ice aimed at her coming from the ground, and is only to react on time due to her ears twitching. She jumps up and uses the chunk of ice that grew from the ground to get higher into the air before turning into her flying form and the air moves to her will causing giant bursts of air to push against Todoroki who puts a wall of ice behind him. Izuki rolls her eyes at this, and makes the wind lift him up and quickly tosses him out the field, and goes down to the ground before going back to her normal look. "The winner is Izuki Midoriya!" She walks over to Todoroki and helps him up, ignoring the fiery man yelling his name, and walks back to where her class is.

"Zuki, congrats on the win!" "Thanks Ev" "Well, looks like it'll be me against you, don't go giving me the win, alright Denki?" Denki looks over at Jackson and nods "Right back at ya" At that moment Umbre comes back and gives her the memories of what she overheard, and her eyes drift over to Hagakure, who's talking and laughing with Jiro. 'So, her parents got taken by Shigaraki and he's forcing her to give him info and in return her parents are cared for. He's the worst of the worst, and deserves no mercy when dealt with.'

"Zuki? Everything okay? You're staring off into space" "Oh, yeah, everything's fine Denks. No need to worry" She gives him a small smile, he can tell she didn't tell the truth, but this is hardly the place to push her about it. "I have a question Izuki" "Hm? What's up Uraraka?" "Why do you still use Midoriya as your last name, it's Kalo isn't it?" Her head snaps over to her "How do you know that" Uraraka shifts in her seat a bit "A-about middle of last week, the girls minus Evelyn played a game of truth or dare, and I asked Mina about your dad and if she knew anything, she said that he used to be Yveltal, and who you're aunt is, so... why don't you use Kalo as your last name?"

"Mina... why the hell did you tell people about my family without asking me first?"

Jack looks over after hearing her say that, he was talking with Evelyn about something and didn't hear what Uraraka asked "You did what?" "L-Look, it was a game of truth or dare, I had to answer" "I trusted you with that info, but I now see that you'll put A GAME over the secrets of a friend" After saying that she walks away from the others cursing under her breath, "Mina, I don't expect you to do it right now, but you owe her an apology, and a major one. She trusted us with that information for a good reason, and you broke that trust, I'll see you on the field Denks" Jack shortly goes after Izuki.
