Izuki POV

It's been about 2 weeks since Aizawa bumped Mineta to the general course and told the class about the new student joining, during class yesterday he said today is the day she joins. In other news, the entire school is buzzing about the new hero rankings that will happen in a week, while my class is a bit more concerned about my birthday which is a day before it. It's a Saturday, which means no school today, so we can help our new classmate get used to life in the dorms.

"Alright, is everyone down here?" "Yep, we're all here Aizawa!" "No need to shout Iida" "Sorry" Aizawa sighs and looks back to the door and waves for someone to enter, "Hey guys, glad to see you all again" "Mira? You're our new classmate?" "Yep! I'm excited to work with you all" "Just so you are all aware, Mira will be working on catching up to you all in terms of training and other hero course specific work, but she will still be taking part in those classes. So I expect at least some of you to help her" "Don't worry Aizawa, I know of a specific person who would be more than willing to help her, and I would be glad to help if she wants me to as well" "Alright, that's all I have, someone help her find her dorm" I stand up and grab some of Mira's boxes from next to her, "Come on, I'll help you find your room and unpack"

Mira POV

"I have a question Izuki" we stop in front of a door with my first name on a small bronze plaque, Izuki opens it and we walk in. "What's up?" "Would... would you and Denki be willing to help me with the school work and training I have to get caught up on?" "Sure, though we can't do much in terms of helping you get a hero license when you start on that" "That's fair, random question, I noticed you two were quite close friends from what I saw during the Expo and the trip home, is there anything going on between you?" My face heats a little from me asking her that question, and Izuki laughs, "No, there's nothing between us, we just happen to have a few shared situations in which we have a underlaying fear of losing those close to us" "O-oh" "Besides," She waves her hand a bit, "I have a boyfriend I have no intention of ending things with" "Really?" "Mhm, Jack" "That's nice, he's really kind" "He really is," She takes out one of my stuffed animals and sets it on the bed, "I love him so much... he's helped me through some major rough patches in my life, namely a pretty bad few weeks where I honestly hated myself more than anything" "You doing alright now?" "Yeah, not perfect, still have some issues here and there, but so much better than before" "Kinda random, but I saw that you took out a few of my stuffed animals, do you not care? The only people who never said anything about them are Kora and Denki" "I have some myself, only 3 or 4 I think, but I don't really care, people can do what they want as long as it doesn't bother others, if you collect stuffed animals so be it"

Me and Izuki finish unpacking my stuff, and just spend some time talking. After a while Denki calls Izuki.

'Hey, just letting you two know that Sato made a cake'

"Alright, thanks Denks"

'No problem'

Me and Izuki get up and walk out a little bit later, "I noticed that you're next to Yaoyorozu, if you ever need anything late at night or you're unsure who to go to specifically, go to her. She's the Vice Rep and Iida is the Class Rep, anything school related you can go to either or someone else in the class. But anything in terms of life outside of school, or even health issues, go to Aizawa" "He gave me the feeling that he doesn't really care about the students that much though" Izuki lightly smiles at the floor for some reason as we start walking, "Don't worry, he may seem like he's a grumpy old man, but he really does care. Flat out threatened Nezu once, over an issue that was a major player in... my mental health issues, I'll leave it at that... anyway, like I said, he cares, just don't tell him I said that. He likes to scare new students," She laughs a bit, "You should ask Denks about their first day" "Were you not there for the first day?" "Nah, me, Ev, and Jack all joined I think about a month late, due to multiple reasons" "Oh, should I ask?" She simply shrugs, "I don't really care, my issues will probably come to light at some point, in other words... it's only a matter of time until you learn what my life before UA was like" I notice her ears go down a bit, but I don't question her, instead I ask a different, more light hearted question.
